That looks amazing. So either they resurrect Ben or he's at least tangible because he can open and close a car door? Or they could just be tricking us and showing a flashback to when he was alive.
It is pretty obvious the scene where Klaus says ghosts can’t time travel is the same scene where Five is briefing the family on what is about to happen, which is presumably early in the season. A lot can happen between then and the end of the season. Regardless, like I said, the trailer could be faking us out with flashbacks, but Ben definitely opens and shuts a car door in the trailer.
they flirted with Ben being tangible in Season 1 after he did something when he was pissed with Klaus. I can't remember if he shoved/punched him or something along those lines
God I cannot wait for July 31st. Also, it’s ridiculous how gorgeous Emmy Raver-Lampman is. I’ve never seen her in anything prior to this series.
Started it this morning, really liking it, Klaus and five are fucking great characters. Really enjoyed the dollhouse shot of "I Think We're Alone Now" Don't spoil any responses please, I'm ignoring prior post till I'm caught up
I’m jealous that you are watching this for the first time. Kendall and I are starting our 3rd rewatch this weekend
It’s such a tightrope, I have to be a good dad and make sure they aren’t pre-exposed to shit they probably shouldn’t see but there’s so many movies I’m dying to let them watch
I was such a goody two shoes that I don't think I watched a R movie until I was 14-15 (Saving Private Ryan). However I saw many a PG movie that allowed boobs and 1-2 F-bombs; I was born in 88' I was hooked early on Star Wars which is probably the first thing I will introduce my son to
Time travel may be a little overdone these days, but first episode was awesome. Music still on point.
I feel like Sepinwall has drifted from critic to cynic over the last few years. I try not to read any critic reviews of anything before I watch it so I can make up my own mind.
Just finished up season 2. I enjoyed it and I’m interested to see where they go from here. Music was fantastic throughout
I really, really enjoyed Season 2. Plot felt a lot tighter, I enjoyed how they tied the real world events at the time into the main story, and I thought the growth of the characters was very well done.
Fuck Sepinwall’s review. Only through 4 eps but I think it’s great so far. And as usual the soundtrack and use of music has been phenomenal
Pretty wild ride. Spoiler I personally don’t like this back to the future form of time travel. I’ll fade away, etc. Diverging timelines is way simpler to grasp and doesn’t force writers into corners or mistakes/inconsistencies.
I liked the season. Spoiler I enjoyed it. It had a 11/22/63 feel to it. In fact they stole a bunch of stuff in a good way. That said - I can see this getting stale quickly if every season is about stopping Vanya from creating the Apocalypse
Spoiler: Spoiler yeah I think if they do Vanyacolypse again in S3 we're basically to Xmen levels of "do something new please" . The opening battle scene to S2 was fucking incredible though
I went and read it after I finished. He complained that the music is gimmicky Like I said, he’s gone from Critic to Cynic.
I knew nothing about this show when I started it last night. Fast forward to this afternoon and I'm like 6 episodes in. Am really digging it.
I didn’t realize it until just now but I need Meatball’s analysis of this show like I need the air I breathe.
