I’m interested in the Howard doc coming out in August Anyone who came up with most of the great Disney songs had to be legendary
As the OG member of the Bey-Hive on this board I took it upon myself to watch this artistical majesty tonight. I don’t know what it is, but it’s perfect. If you disagree I will cancel you.
Holy shit. Little bro thought he was following Bey and her snake into a portal and ended up in a BMX cyberpunk forest. This is incredible.
Very cool visually, but I fell asleep. My 8-year-old loves the books (and he loved the movie) but apparently the movie is very different from the book in some major plot areas.
It’s not a rent, it’s a full download according to CNN’s redaction last night, but yes, I don’t see many biting on that offer.
Wife and I were talking about this the other day. Wonder if studios will start offering new releases on demand. Not sure we'd bite on $30 but most likely would at $20 even if it's a rental We used to go on Tuesday or Sundays with $5 tickets, so $20 wouldn't be bad
Thanks for the input, Disney target consumer who would have paid $45 to take your kids to see it in the theater
Hell, I’m willing to pay a premium on what it’d cost in the theater to be able to watch it on my terms at home with my family whether COVID is here or not. Start when we want, pause if needed, no obnoxious people to deal with, more comfortable seats, higher quality screen, and no need for baby sitter. Only things I’m missing out on are the much bigger screen (though, I have a projector setup), bigger sound (mines not too shabby), and the event experience. There’s still a place for theaters in my life, but I’d probably watch 90% of movies at home if I could (and usually have to anyway).
Same. As much as I love movies I hate going to movie theaters now. I prefer my home setup. I'll gladly pay $30 for Mulan when it comes out. I hope this experiment is successful for Disney so I can do the same for Black Widow and Soul later this year.
Totally agree I do thing the individual movie price will come down, as many family's aren't headed to the theater with 3 or 4 people in tow that might be the justification for the $30 price Its not an equal offering when you are using your paid internet service to watch it on your screen that you paid for in your home. Honestly I would be fine with this being almost the end of movie theaters, hell they have become pretty trashy anyway
Just went through the 90’s collection for the first time in awhile mighty ducks Heavyweights First kid Homeward bound White fang The rocketeer The three musketeers Cool runnings Blank check Camp nowhere just nostalgia everywhere
FYI if you want to wait... Mulan will be available to all Disney+ subscribers on December 4, 2020 for no additional cost.
I enjoyed it. Had its ups and downs, didn't love all the characters, but overall not bad compared to other live adaptations.
Watched Coco to pass some time tonight waiting for any election info If anyone did the free year from Verizon, make sure you cancel that if you have another service set up. I’d signed up for the 3 years for price of 2 and that paused during free year from Verizon but was showing it was going to charge me through Verizon next week
