I wouldn't say it's dumb... it just zeros in on the most neurotic parts of my personality and gleefully dances upon them :/
to me, imo, for me to do it would be dumb. I’d never be able to drink the water. I’d have run completely paranoid about what the world was doing to my water. I’d have hyperventilated thinking about how I’d be poisoned touching the bottle.
I bought these collapsible water bottles recently, and they’ve worked well for me. Best Collapsible Water Bottle BPA Free (10-Pack) For Gym, Sports, Teams, Hiking, Camping, Biking, Outdoors, Beach, Traveling, Yoga & More, Lightweight, Foldable, Reusable, 16.9oz Hydration-On-The-Go!
As the weight has come off and the temps have gone up, I’ve made the decision to primarily go topless when i run now. Purchased some headbands
I do that sometimes too. Leave my car key on the tire. Which is something you would totally do right BellottiBold ?
Dude, I ran the Lakeshore Trail a few weeks back. I put my fob in the trailer hitch. When i got back, there was a cop talking to a lady like three spots down and the window of her Subaru was busted out. I couldn’t believe it, since that’s a pretty nice area. That said, i think you’re good as long as you have insurance.
Run like a 3 or 4 mile loop from your house multiple times and leave a water bottle in the mailbox. That’s what I do. And a change of shirt for every lap, because it’s fucking 80 degrees at sunrise.
Friend of mine (older lady in her mid 60’s) would drive around and stash water bottles by trees, near brides, and other random shit and then run 10 miles and go find them...
We’ve got a run group in town that does Saturday group runs with designated water stops around town. At least we did pre-COVID.
17! Last five miles were tough and my HR definitely got up there. Sucks because since I went out when it was totally dark still, my HR was up vs. what it would normally be just because it was different and weird. No sun until I got to the end of the run, thankfully.
Did 10 today. I’ve been focusing on running more often this month so the longest I’ve gone is 6 during July. Had a lot of cloud coverage and lower than normal humidity it seemed. The sun came out when I hit mile 9, so the last one was a bit of a struggle. #blessed Also, fuck Strava for clocking me at 9.99 when my watch was over 10. #unblessed
Decided to go for a bike ride rather than a run this AM. Did 20 miles and barely felt the heat. Maybe I'll just do this until the fall.
try and get a run in here and there. Trust me you’ll lose a lot by not running. That is unless you’re biking up steep inclines but run flat.
oh for sure, I'd go crazy without running. I wouldn't have made it through the stuff earlier this year without it
I’m trying to get in at least 1 run a week. Will bump that up to twice a week it’s just difficult when I can just hop on my bike or peloton. I think I need to retire a pair of shoes I have did 6 last Saturday and the balls of my feet were killing me.
tbink they would have to pay $10 million to get it back Doesn’t seem too bad for a company that big I also don’t think there’s an option when it comes to getting ransomware’d, you have to pay or give up all the data
WUnderground app says 86.....I’ve been stuck at 3.something for a bit but about to drink little more water then whatever it takes making that app say 6.2
Did five with a mask. I’ll say that sucked for the 45 seconds at a time that I’d put it on to run by people. I think it’s the unfamiliarity that’s the issue. I don’t think I was getting less oxygen but it sure felt like it. The more I do it that more normal it will get. At least the balls of my feet don’t hurt. Think it’s time to retire the other pair of shoes. Also learned how to understand wind direction and ran with the wind on the way back.
I use this for all of my accessories https://flipbelt.com/flipbelt?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6_X13ebp6gIVhIbACh2IpQV5EAAYASAAEgIPtvD_BwE
...so I, a nominaly intelligent person, traded sensible sleep for 55 degrees (and a lot of shade) and was rewarded with my best 7 of pandemic nightmare and an 8th just because fuck everything, that's why. Also there were some fine ladies on the trail and as I passed them I could just make out they were commenting on how attractive I looked with my arm band. (For like 3 consecutive loops iirc) The real win though was that at no point did any of the limbs bother me.
