So we aren’t just top of the table. The season so far includes 4 wins against teams in the top 9 of the league. So this is a really good showing.
I’m going to take the blame for his because I changed the thread title. Let’s just stick with the classic
That blunder in the beginning by Rodon really worried me but turns out we had plenty of time to turn it around. Team is fun to watch, Cooper's got things going well. Honestly nothing for me to bitch about. Few things I'd change but I'm not the manager who has us top of the league.
Thread title right on point today. Swim away scum swim away. Nice to get back to winning ways seeing out the win over that team down the road.
Sounds like the hosts were the better team today, but we managed to walk out with a point anyway. I’ll take it.
Very interesting outcome considering both teams had a ton of chances but I'll def take the point after conceding so late. Still should have gotten 3 points honestly if we didn't blow it so late.
Woof November 9th is a while to see this updated. Love the direction of the club lately. Trevor Birch has this ship righted it seems. Interesting comment basically stating the owners aren't involved at all, and aren't taking any money from the club. Think its obvious at this point they are praying for a promotion this year to sell, even though others say they dont think thats the case. Obviously we have some great youth in the line up now with Brewster and Gallagher, Rodon coming back. Just wish we actually had a chance to see some of these young stars become long term Swans but of course thats not an option. Only 18 more to go and we are still in a playoff race..Hoping for an exciting end to the year.
Yeah, I like what this team can do. Getting Joe back helps. It really feels like if we don’t get promotion though, things could take a bad turn.
What a beautiful first 30 minutes setting up an easy three points at Boro. Glad to be back in action.
I didn't know you guys had a thread, but I've been pulling for you guys to make the playoffs as I've been keeping tabs on Brewster.
A lot of his goals have been just setting up in the right spot. That was him showing real skill. He’s comfortable here and been scoring a lot since he showed up. He’s a good one.
There's a great chance he's getting a season-long PL loan next season. Would be great if it's with the swans
Hi friends. This is a great read. https://theathletic.com/1951346/202...pionship-play-offs?source=user-shared-article Let me know if you need a c/p
Great win. The yellow against Brewster that should have been a pk was the most confusing call I've seen in some time.
Glad to be going to Griffin Park with a 1-0 advantage but Brentford is so talented, doesn't mean much
I though that was just a slip. 1-0 win isn’t the best outcome but a win is big headed into Wednesday.
The run was exciting, but this team is going to be completely different next season - and much worse. Kind of out last shot at promotion until we get oil sheik money.
Yep.... Woodman- Gone unless we are able to work out another loan. Wants to stay in Swansea so there is hope. VdH- Contract is up Guehi- Supposedly was an 18 month loan so we will still have him. Rodon- Hopefully isn't sold. Swansea boy so likely wants to stay. But has PL talent. Wilmot- comes back from Watford Cabango- Back next season. Bidwell- Back next season. Declan John- Back from Sunderland Roberts- Swansea boy so hopefully stays but PL talent can be sold. Naughton- Contract is up Gallagher- Back to Chelsea Grimes- Staying around but had a hell of a year could be interest for him. Fulton- Back Byers- Back Celina- back but most likely sold as he is out of favor with Cooper. Dhanda- back Ayew- Still under contract but probably sold Peterson is back from Utrecht Routs and Dyer both contract ends Garrick- back Brewster- Back to Liverpool Asoro- back from Groningen
There's just very little talent certain to return next year. Without a lot of help or good luck dare I say we could be worrying about going down. If we lose Ayew on top of Brewster our next best goal scorer is George Byers or a 35 year old Routs. After that is Jay Fulton......
Soooooo Kev Johns. A packet of sweets and a cheeky smile? https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/radio-dj-swansea-city-stadium-18715659 All this after his son admitting to having over a thousand indecent images of children and admitting he created them as well. What a family. Taffy is going to have to replace him as Pantomime Dame at the theatre.
Met him once when he was looking for a car. I was working in Swansea and he actually gave it the old "Do you know who I am?" guff. He was quite insulted when I didn't know. Fuck him, arrogant twat.
Freddie Woodman is back! Which is huge and then we got Benda behind him. So solid at keeper. Korey Smith coming in brings great championship experience to the midfield. Pair him with Grimes and let him drop into more of a defensive role in midfield. Now if only we could figure out what happens with Ayew and find some attacking help.
Kits look good to me. Loving the Swansea Uni as sponsor just fits perfectly. Also solid article out a couple days ago about how the larger clubs are now contacting us about taking their youth guys. Nice to see what Cooper could do with youth and of course we've had great training ground for a while now.
Hoping that Woodman is our next in line, and really glad he's getting consistent games. Hope he continues to develop
