makes me nervous every time this thread gets bumped today. Play guys like Mercer and Lugo over the next few days so they catch it over the young guys that you actually want to see play
Season going to cancelled a week in when we like 4-1 and they'll use the 5 games for the draft order and we'll pick 30th
Not watching because I'm not paying for Extra Innings when the season is going to get canceled anyway. If Fulmer only going 3 tonight? Or possibly more?
We have a guy pitching now who had an era over 6 in minors last year....bats going to have to keep scoring runs tonight
These two "BP" games are going to be a rough watch. Would be more fun watching Mize and Manning start....
For MG2 first 15 mins in baseball data and specifically Boyd https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podca...th-michael-lewis/id1455379351?i=1000476516814
Doubtful. He’s got to make it through NL first, and then I doubt we would want to pay him his salary.
We're gonna be running low on terrible contracts for useless players. Can't pass this opportunity up.
Former 1st round pick so he fits Avila's sole criteria for being able to judge talent. Marlins probably grab him due to losing half their roster but Tigers will almost assuredly put in a claim as well
That might have been the best performance by a Tigers' bullpen in a decade. It's sad to think that isn't really hyperbole.
I think it would be a little different if the guys that are playing would be part of our success down the road. Besides maybe Goodrum and Cabrera, how many of these guys are actually on the team in 2022?
Merrifield keeps killing our pitching. I also was unaware he is 31 already. Thought he was a younger guy but I was wrong Fun fact, we also drafted Patrick Leyland a round before Merrifield was drafted
He's really good. Feel bad for him because he didn't get called up full time until his age 28 season and he signed a contract for 4/$16M before last season. He's going to end up much less for his career than he should because of the system.
Boyd is a career 5.00 ERA pitcher. Yeah he’s an ace on he Tigers, but a #4 pitcher on most other teams,
