Do yall think we go rogue and play "exhibition" games against regional teams if the B1G throws in the towel? I feel like the Moos is all in right now.
Pizza at Isles was really solid. Picked it up and roasted in the sun eating it in the bed of my truck
The B1G controls us and any TV rights. Really can't see this happening, which probably means it absolutely will happen. It would be moronic. There'd be no money in it, so that should keep the stupid away.
Wanted to get a burrito at that Mexican place but decided against it what with the whole coronavirus thing making me hesitant to take dumps in public restrooms, even at your state's typically clean rest stops. Was in one in Sidney this evening that was super clean
I don’t think B1G has any control of the non-conference schedule which is what our huge matchup with UNK would be. B1G may refuse to air the game, but I’m sure FOX or ESPN will be tripping over themselves for any live action by that point.
Pretty sure they do with the TV coverage, which is ultimately the only reason anybody is even entertaining the idea of playing CFB this fall. Otherwise, we'd have games televised on CBS on occasion.
I just feel like I know Moose well enough to surmise that crazy sob is going to do whatever he can to get us some games even if we're playing the Dakotas and wyoming.
Dean pimping out a mortgage company as HOLs new corporate sponsor has me RIPing in peace. Come get the latest on the walkon from Cambridge and your new 15 year fixed home loan all in one place!
It's incredible. Glad my subscription still has a few days left on it, so I could witness this magnificence.
I think one of my favorite husking moments was when a friend of mine and I took a radio and a nerf football down to the woods at the end of our pasture and played catch with the football over a crick as we listened to Calvin Jones run roughshod over the Jayhawks in a record-setting performance. And I'm having a slice for husk lunch husk
Not bad. 10,000 people should be able to be there and still maintain social distancing guidelines. Curious how they would determine who gets a ticket and who doesn't.
Sure 10K sounds good. It’s all kind of just like Monopoly money at this point as I‘ll be quite surprised at how much football actually gets played unless we just stop even pretending to give a shit about student athlete exposures or health. I’m pessimistic, but hopeful. Would love to watch football this fall.
Still interested how you get 10K in and out without there being a log jam of people next to each other. Same with the concourse/bathroom area.
I predict some massive indoor gathering led by our trusted governor, no masks allowed. The 5,000 pure bred Huskers who can cheer the loudest get a golden ticket. Fine print reveals only top tier donors qualify.
How can you expect a weather and pandemic health reporter to keep up with the minutiae of sports?! Smdh.
True good point. I wonder how the math works for 10K in that stadium. I mean would there be more than 6 ft between everyone if they opened every section and had people space out as much as possible? Maybe they'll just say only people in every other row and 3 seat numbers between each person.
Every 3rd or 4th row imo. If you stagger the the seats in the rows, you maybe get 18" side spacing. To get 6' to the front, you need ~5.8' between your row and the row that person in front or behind you is in. Every other row doesn't get you that. Since the stadium is primarily bench seating, roping off areas would likely be the best way to do it...easier to enforce, easier to set up, other than the initial roping off. Sell tickets in groups of 4-6 (maybe up to 8?) and space out the roped off areas.
