I love VSB so much. They’re doing a collab with D96 that should be out in like 2 weeks...cannot wait.
really like RC but not sure I’m there yet. Have had a couple of their recent releases and they were very good but not quite at the level of some of the stuff Burial has put out lately (for example, Anatomical Transmutation, Amidst a Metaphorical Psychobabble, the 2 Other Half collabs). We don’t get everything they put out so I’m willing to have my mind changed.
Amazing. I like actually like this more than the Hypermash Hydra. You gotta turn on their Instagram page notifications. I think they sold out of the crowlers in 3-5 minutes.
I tried to do that after I missed out on Voltaic Shock and then forgot about it. Hopefully this time will work. I don't social media much so all of that stuff has been set to not inform me of anything.
Before there was Hill Farmstead, Tired Hands, or Casita, the proprietors of those 3 brewed together in Denmark. This was one of the beers they conjured together, re-released 10 years later. Good shit.
breaking: teelsy has acquired 1 treehouse, 2 Kanes and 1 Equilibrium in exchange for 4 Burley Oak JREAMs
Damn that new Casa can drop looks great. Was thinking of getting Since Ever Since and Binary Moons 4-packs, but they all seem to tempting. Any Casa veterans have tips/thoughts? I favor Hazy's over West Coast, but am not totally opposed to WCIPAs.
VTA (head brewer if you aren't aware) compared Since Ever Since to For Flowers, which was their best hoppy beer ever imo. He said High Frontier was second behind that. He put Binary Moons last on his list of the 5.
I got the full spiel on this when I visited, so let me see if I can get it right. Offshoot is the same folks (mostly if not totally) behind The Breury out in Anehiem. The head brewer or owner said that he (or The Bruery) would never brew a hazy/New England style IPA. A couple years ago the style became too big to ignore. So rather than go back on his word, he created a new brand/label to put out their NEIPAs under. Seems silly, but whatever. Don't get it in Arkansas or Alabama, but went to Pensacola last weekend to the beach and they had it in Publix. The lack of uniformity in distro is frustrating, but it's still getting better all the time, so I can't be too mad.
Thanks for the insight - will move Binary Moons down the list. Hop combo in Jets Overhead of El Dorado & Citra probably tastes like tropical juice, sounds great
Wife grabbing me brisket & sausage from Tender for dinner so I’m to pop a birthday beer & watch all the golf
Green is my favorite of the base Treehouse beers. Haven't had it in forever. Need to get my hands on some.
Kinghorn817 if you like barrel-aged shit you should check out Cold Fashioned from Arizona Wilderness.
Try and get your hands on Very Green. Almost just as good as Very Gggreen but way easier to get and not nearly as high of a secondary cost.
I’ve heard great things about Arizona Wilderness but I’ve honestly never had any of their beer. I need to get my hands on some. Do you go to the actual brewery to get their beer?
They have a downtown brewpub that opened last year. It's right up the street from King's on Roosevelt (The Theodore is there too, they have some stuff King's doesn't carry but their selection isn't as robust IMO). I heard about it for years before trying it too since going out to Gilbert to drink from downtown is a haul but have hit up their downtown spot a bunch. We're moving out that way early next year so I guess I'll finally be able to check out the Gilbert location.
Do they sell cans at that location? I’m up near Desert Ridge so going to Gilbert, even Kings, is somewhat of a drive for me.
