This is what Keith said about this kid yesterday Spoiler -Not that long ago, many thought 5-star 2022 quarterback Quinn Ewers of Southlake Carroll (Texas) was an Oklahoma lock. But schools such as Auburn and Ohio State seem to have made things interesting. Tigers offensive coordinator Chad Morris has, we are told, given Ewers a lot about which to think and the No. 1 recruit in the country seems open to giving Auburn a shot. The two sides communicate a lot. What the Tigers really want is for Ewers to take his time so he can see what Morris does with Tigers starter Bo Nix this season. Should Nix impress, that could help. Ewers won't be our guy in 2022, but I like the fact we're in the mix for a lot of top tier guys. MJ Morris or Ty Simpson would be nice too if Ewers picks OU/OSU.
The state of Arkansas is going to have an abnormally large high P5 type recruits for 2022 as well. Normally we have like 4-5, but will easily have 10-12 in that class
We’re about to get on the board for 2022 tomorrow. First kid we have gotten from Wisconsin since Robert Windsor
Off to a much better start than 2021 Got Saunders earlier this week: https://247sports.com/player/kaden-saunders-46081196/ Then Cross today
It will be tough for us to pull MJ too. Think there is a really good 2022 QB at Lowndes or Valdosta iirc, but he may be 2023.
No but Rusty will help his BFF turn this into a huge recruiting win for South Carolina. The minute they hired Bobo they got Stockton, per Rusty at that time. I would be shocked if he picked us.
pretty sure he has connection to Kirby's Dad, but stronger relationship with Bobo and Bobo's dad and also think friends with Bobo's son.
Mike Miller is 2023 QB at Valdosta. With Propst being the HC now, they’re going to compete every year whether people care for him or not. I’m sure he’ll be a top QB in next years class. Jacurri Brown is at Lowndes. Quick write up on him from March at Elite 11 in Atlanta: Jacurri Brown is 6-foot-3 1/2, 206 pounds as a rising Junior at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Georgia. He ran a 4.63-second time in the 40-yard dash with a 33.4-inch vertical jump. So before the footballs were even on the field, Brown had our attention. A big, fluid athlete that checks all of the measurable boxes. Then you get to see the life in the young man's arm. With little to no effort, that strong frame produces a powerful and quick stroke. There is no wasted motion in the young man's delivery, and it's no wonder several top programs have gotten in early with Brown. What we didn't get to see Satruday — apart from the 40 — is Brown's incredible running ability. He runs downhill with the strength you'd expect given his size yet he can make defenders miss as if he's a much more compact athlete. Last year Brown rushed for 1,559 yards on top of the 1,330 yards he tallied through the air. Hence the dual-threat label that he's welcomed thus far in the recruiting process. In fact, he had 80 more carries than any other player at Lowndes last season, a team that was a perfect (14-0) in the toughest classification of football the state of Georgia provides before losing to Marietta (Ga.) in the state championship game. Brown accounted for 51.4% of the offensive yardage last season as a Sophomore.
Does Propst will continue to field really good teams with really good players that will be lucky to qualify?
Valdosta brought him in to be a State Title contender every year like they were in the 60’s & 70’s. Not just once every 3-5 years. So yes, they’ll figure out ways to handle that
Lol @ Brandon Drumm straight up deleting his OU crystal ball pick today. Must be a new feature. Could never do that before.
The almighty Cdawg just scared Ewers away. Drumm knew this the whole time Posted on 55 mins, V I P, User Since 63 months ago, User Post Count: 10,884 55 minsVIP 63 months 10,884 Pacmule7 said... (original post)Is this for real? Yep. Caleb Williams commitment and Yursich relationship was deal breaker
pretty desperate move by the Texas247 writers to use a poorly worded tweet by a former Southlake player that was congratulating the QB he played with for the past couple years as clickbait sad!
