Maybe the most absurd development in the sports world is that the PGA Champions tour is playing. Yeah let's bring back a tour of old farts that loses money and is subsidized by the PGA tour to stay afloat.
people on our board are upset about our home schedule because its good and "the atmosphere wont be the same with limited capacity" these dumbasses still think there is a chance fans will be allowed
Lol at "this is very concerning." How could they have possibly gotten this in a country overrun with the virus?
I guess mlb will eventually figure out that you can't sit right next to each other in the dugout w/out masks, high five each other, etc.
Or live in a country that is teeming with covid and be shocked when it shows up on MLB teams. It seems like a ridiculous expectation
It may end up being a positive. Maybe they'll push the season back a bit and play in a bubble/pods this fall. We can have NBA/PGA until then.
they finally implemented the policy for each club to hire COVID compliance officers. easy and cheap thing to do from the jump
Good thing Oklahoma moved its season opened up to have that Covid week before the nonexistent Tennessee matchup.
Rudy Gobert...who pretty much stopped the NBA season when he tested positive for COVID...just scored the game winning points in the first game of the NBA restart.
So as it stands 8/29 - Big 12 kind of starts 9/5 - Big Ten starts? 9/12 - ACC starts 9/19 - PAC 12 starts 9/26 - SEC starts 10/1 - Everyone stops
Yeah right. In response to these tests, the Big 12 will announce a 26 game season, with multiple games a week, beginning tomorrow.
what is great is that the NFL has had the longest time to prepare for covid and is watching how a non bubble league works and they have flat out done nothing with that information
