There will be targeted post offices. Localities/neighborhoods that are Blue in swing states will be most targeted. Lots of mail will get ‘’misplaced” at those post offices. It will also happen in a few predominantly Red localities in safe Red states so that the USPS can say it impacted both parties.

 

I’m more leaning to the POV that his tweet raising the question of delaying the election was calculated to deflect the bad news about the economy. It seems to have worked. Also, it helps keep people focused on that possibility while overlooking the many ways he can steal the election itself. His consistent warnings about Democrats fraudulently using mail in ballots is a clear sign that the White House is already planning to do that themselves. Besides the efforts at suppressing the Democratic vote, I’m very concerned that many voting machines will be corrupted by Russian hackers.

I agree with all this, but Bill is old and losing it. Trying to convey that Carmichael's tenure at SNCC stood in direct contradiction to John Lewis'. (Not to mention the contentious vote drama right before the selma march that brought up the leadership change).

And this next point is obviously debatable, but the methods/means Lewis sought to effectuate change have aged the test of time better than Carmichael's. Yesterday was a celebration of Lewis' commitment to nonviolence. In some roundabout way, Bill was adjudicating that point. Problem is a funeral service was not the proper forum to do that. But it was an attempt to tribute John Lewis nonetheless.
