psa: if your rapper is singing their raps, there's like an upwards of 98% chance I'm not interested thank you.
I loved his first couple albums but as a rule I agree with you about the sing song guys. Stuff doesn’t age well usually. My one exception is Devin
“I know this gonna be good cuz it took me a week to make and not two days” if you love Griselda, this next month is for you. Benny and the black soprano family drop Friday, Conway 8/14 WSG 8/31.
Boldy being on Griselda is so fucking dope btw. With WSG resources and deringer in house he’s gonna make some dope ass fucking music
Boldys son who can’t be anymore than 10 is helping with the chain and Boldy is smoking a fat blunt. Hilarious parenting maybe
Not really a Logic guy but the album is good. Especially the first half. Some great beats/production.
I think after my initial listen it came back to earth a bit. It’s definitely still an enjoyable album but it’s low substance.
As good as BT is, the chemistry between those two was outrageous. ps lotta dumbass references in the thread too smdh
mind was bottled when I discovered deringer is the little squirly kid from Action Bronson watches Ancient Aliens
After the BSF album this morning (decent listen) I’ve jumped into Action Bronson’s catalog for the first time. Started with Dr Lecter and now I’m listening to Mr Wonderful. I really dig this shit
Logic is frustrating because he's talented but got outside of the lane that got him started on an album like Under Pressure.
He really rocks that Ghostface/WSG voice inflection that kills those luxury coke raps. He just uses it more twords luxury lifestyle raps. He’s super witty and funny as well and his ear for production is top notch
Not on Apple Music. You recommended those when I first asked for some recs on him and I think I just sidetracked looking for them. His latest album lamb Over Rice is dope too
If you guys haven’t realized yet I listen to music all day long at work. Need some new ear buds tho I just bought these AirPod pros and they fucking distort
does anyone remember when there was some sort of mixtape (or maybe just a track) out a while back that sounded exactly like Nas but it was under a different (and maybe alias) name?
these are the two best. Well-Done with Statik was what initially got me on Bronson, so I would check that out as well. It's a little more lush production than normal and he's going 100 mph on a lot of the tracks
Frank Ocean's 18 year old brother died in a fiery car crash yesterday with one other https://abc7.com/car-crash-thousand-oaks-westlake-blvd-boulevard/6348792/ Spoiler: photo of Frank sitting on a curb outside the accident
Incredibly sad and Frank has always made it very clear his love and adoration for Ryan. Apparently frank basically raised him. As someone who lost a beloved sibling not that long ago I empathize with him deeply.
