I know some people don’t like Bonobos anymore but they have 60% off sale items right now with good selection.
yeah... and I have never had quality issues with them either. Grabbed 5 pairs of pants today for $160.
Hello I just spent like $700 on amazon for portable AC units because no fucking houses in the area come with AC.
Which pants? I feel like I've heard abt these before and could use some new pants, and shorts if they are good for warm weather (i.e. lightweight).
They have a lot of fits on there...I got a few “stretch organic khakis” or something in slim cut and like them. I also have a pair of athletic cut khakis from there that seem a little boxy for me, but I can see why people like them. Their golf shorts are really comfortable, and lightweight. Lots of styles/options available.
For my birthday I received my first two pair of Bonobos slacks from y wife, but "on sale" they were still like $75 each at Nordstrom. Are there different collections or something? I've never seen a cheap pair.
Like a lot of retailers, they've just been having blowout sales on pretty much everything, since people are just sitting at home in basketball shorts and t shirts instead of going to an office.
Bought 2 pairs for $20 each on final sale (i.e., no returns), and was wondering how they'd be. Cool cool
Ah yeah, I remember visiting my aunt in Eugene, it was mind blowing she didn’t gave ac in her very nice home.
Maybe just me, but bonobos sizing has gotten pretty inconsistent. Feel like I never know what I’m gonna get. Returns are very easy tho so I still buy stuff.
There are dorms at UF that don’t have AC I’m pretty sure also. Think all of Clemson has AC now. Mine did and I lived in the shitty ones freshman year.
I'm a pretty big Bonobos fan, but have seen this myself. I had a pair of pants come in a couple of months ago that were an inch longer than another pair of the exact same pant just in a different color. Like you said though, there returns are extremely easy, so I don't really care that much.
My biggest issue with bonobos are the leg openings on pants. They are not tapered or trim at all even on slim fit pants. So you end up with wide ass pants hanging over your shoes while the rest is actually slim fitting. It’s why I don’t buy any casual pants or jeans from them.
Pelican 1550, gonna use it as a humidor... Spanish Cedar trays x6 Spanish Cedar sheets for lining the Pelican Boveda seasoning packs for trays/liner Boveda Butler hygrometer Boveda wood holders for bottom/sides Boveda 320 mounting plates for lid Boveda 320g packs Boveda 60g packs brick
A few reasons. Most humidors that hold a comparable number of sticks are cabinets/furniture (didn’t want to commit to the footprint), expensive (~$1k+), are all similarly styled (grandparents furniture), and even “quality” ones (majority are made in China and suspect) are notoriously finicky and require routine care/maintenance. The DIY/tupperdor systems have really good reviews as far as ease of use and reliability. I’m not really looking to display my sticks, just properly store them. I may get a nice desktop humi down the road for display, but for ~$250 I don’t think there’s a better option for reliability/volume.
It might just be my preference, but I don’t like them. For comparison my casual JCrew pants/jeans are much slimmer in the leg opening. I want them much closer to joggers than traditional old man pants. I wear the weekday warriors to work everyday and it annoys me that they hang over the tongue on my shoes.
