Sheep Ranch Old Mac Bandon Dunes Bandon Trails Pacific Dunes One more round on Sheep before we head out. Legs are dragging quite a bit today and that 7:10 time at Old Mac came really early. Picture perfect weather. 16 at Sheep here and then the way back 17 tee view
Haven’t played since February because of a hand injury. Starting Monday I’m playing 4 rounds in 3 days. I hope my hand can handle it.
Brooks with the very relatable 1st drive into the thick shit, provisional potentially OB sequence just now
pretty awesome leader board for a Sunday Brendon Todd (come back story, looking for 3rd win this year after being 500th last year) Rickie Fowler (talented guy who hasn't won the big events as often as his reputation, super popular though) Brooks Kopeka (4x major winner, reigning WGC Champ, elite troller of Bryson) Justin Thomas (Elite 12x winner) Phil Mickelson (duh) all within 5, and in top 10.
also Ben An is like a diet Finau in terms of so many top 10s without a signature W. Having said that, lets go JT or Brooks
Honestly, I don't know that much about Ben An other than he's always around on Friday and Saturday so I didn't include. But yeah, I am rooting for Brooks (as always) or Thomas as well. I'd be real happy for Todd though. He hasn't even qualified for big events in years and a WGC win would put him back into top 40 in the world after falling to outside top 2000 a couple years ago.
Todd has been playing elite golf after completely losing his game. I became a fan after his interview on NLU. That said, I'm pulling for a Brooks/JT shootout
Not surprised. At this point in our lives, the surprising thing will be when the first major sport/event says there will be fans. My prediction is some college football teams with very limited fans.
I cannot putt. I shot 84 today with the absolute best my irons have ever been, and my putter let me down. I had a shot to break 80 for the first time.
I can't believe how luck jt has been last two holes. That ball left was nuts. Afraid I'm going to lose some money on that fuckery.
Good win by probably the best golfer in the world. Would have loved to see him and BK battle it out in a playoff.
JT definitely had some super luck on the back today but this makes his fade at the pre-Memorial all the more baffling, such a stud
