To be fair, that isn't the episode he's referring to, the one prior to it is the first after the positive test. But they both deserve it, they've been bashing any precautions for months.
Barely speaks English too. He needs to quit with the CTE excuse, Nate Diaz has negative brain cells left and he speaks better than Brendan. When he's roasting Callen or talking shit he's pretty funny though.
Brendens bit from his standup special about the asian doctor is one of the cringiest things ive ever seen in my life. His stand up "career" is living proof that its who you know
Schaub is very very dumb but I do think it’s weird that so many people who watch his show constantly talk about how horrible of a comic he is/ how he’s the worst etc. etc.
Still strange to see so many people who "like" him constantly shitting on him. Reeks of jealousy imo.
I know it seems like I am targeting you specifically, but I'm really not. More about what you see on the TFATK reddit and what not. To me its like people following around Shaq or Deion Sanders and being like HA YOU FUCKING SUCK AT RAPPING
Oh, no I’m with you there. the TFATK Reddit is sad. They can watch and cut up a full podcast to roast Brendan quicker than I can just listen to an episode. They all crack the same jokes over and over and over.
Will someone please update the thread title to “Place to go to be informed which tmb posters are smarter than Rogan and his guests”?
That thread already exists, but only posters that are smarter than Joe Rogan are capable of finding it.
I enjoy the podcast, I take what Rogan says as a grain of salt and enjoy his guests usually. My favorite thing about Callen is how sensitive he is, and how easily his own guests will fuck with him.
Some podcasts work OK remotely. TFATK is not one of them. However, I do like that I can look at Kat the entire time.
I'm waiting for someone to call him out on his insistence on comparing everything to comedy (apparently the greatest pursuit a person can undertake) Scientific Guest - "Joe, we're on the cusp of being able to transport a person, atom by atom, from one point in space to another thousands of miles away, in milliseconds" Joe Rogan - "Whoa... that's like being on stage and transporting an audience, person by person, from the set-up, to the punchline of a joke.... yeah, pretty much the same thing" Scientific Guest - "Yeah, similar..."
Joe had Oliver Stone on yesterday. Lemme just say, pretty nice to have a podcast where Joe just talks to the guest about their stuff and lets them talk. No covid discussion. They went off into some JFK assassination stuff but that can be fun. All in all it felt like a throwback to the better days of the podcast
Rogan tilting Shapiro in 2 minutes is so funny on the Kaep situation. Don't think Ben thought Rogan was going to show up to actually push back even minimally.
Not that I've seen, he released his statement video on IG I think and is now taking a leave of absence from the podcast. He's been having a rough go of it since his divorce. I know he's struggling financially since COVID - Schaub and D'Elia were giving him money.
How do people know Callen is taking money from friends outside of some ribbing on various podcasts. Doesn’t Callen have family money?
His folks are still alive, but yea his folks have money. He just went through a long divorce. Now has two mortgages, alimony and child support. No more Goldbergs or Schooled. No more shows every weekend for comedy. He’s living off of TFATK and he’s always admitted to being terrible with his money in contrast to Brendan(which I find odd bc he spends money like a mfer and his wife is bougie af). D’Elia and Schaub have ribbed him for many years about it.
schaub’s making bank in the weed/cbd world found it odd that kreischer doesn’t hold a grudge with schaub for blatantly ripping off the whole thicc boy shit from him and segura
Schaub for all his bullshit is actually a pretty good business mind. He’s deserved nothing that he’s gotten but who knows what Showtime is paying him too. I didn’t know anything about their Thicc boy stuff and Bert just did TFATK with Brendan last week.
Conversations like this is why Joe Rogan's popularity can be dangerous. Joe & Mike Baker don't know shit about the situation in Portland, They don't understand the Defund the police movement, they flirt with George Soro funding the protest, and damn near whitewash the Civil War.
Dude I can't do the Mike Baker episodes. I pressed play on this one and scrubbed to a random spot. Mike's voice says "our embassy in Benghazi" alight no thanks. Scrub a little farther and Joe is bringing up the "Manson was an MK Ultra agent" stuff. Him and Mike proceed to explain that we can't judge the CIA for dosing American citizens with LSD without their knowledge because it was a different time and people were scared of the Soviets. Joe loves to pretend he's all anti-establishment and that hes always on guard for government overreach but everytime an actual issue rears its head, he goes straight to boot licking. Torture of detainees? "Look people who are against torture pretend they KNOW it doesn't work. The military KNOWS what its doing and they are out here trying to SAVE LIVES." Dosing citizens of our own country with drugs as an experiment without their knowledge? "Look they were just defending us from communism!" Its gross
That's because Joe's opinions are only as good as his most recent guest. Unless you're a social justice warrior. That one won't ever ever ever ever ever go away.
Mike Baker is a fucking idiot. Classic, "Look I have no side in this fight" closet GOPer, that then goes on to be like, "Yeah QAnon is crazy, but both sides have their crazies. Portland is just a bunch of people with too much time on their hands. "He tries to be impartial but only brings up the terrible of one side, and never will criticize the right without trying to pivot it to a reaching example of the left. All he does is fan flames to government and media conspiracies without any basis other than working for the CIA in the past
What was the book that Rogan was talking about re: Manson? I thought it specifically drew the conclusion that Manson was working for, or working with the CIA.
