It’s still top notch action which is what the movie is about. The fight scene with Halle berry and the dogs was great. And the knife fight at the beginning... so awesome
An arrangement with Mr. Wick is confirmed tomorrow @ 6p PT/9p ET. No reservations required. https://m.essage.us/msg/RwgD8GfrEb
Looks like Lionsgate is doing a fundraiser. Part of this will be showing John Wick on YT for free it appears. I guess they're hoping some will hit the donate button while firing up the movie.
Free broadcast of John Wick is starting on YouTube to raise money for furloughed theater employees. Search for “Lionsgate Live” if you’re interested.
Keep up with the sass and i will fly out there and kick your ass. you’re not too big to catch these hands too.
I will Stan HARD for 2. The scene with the Sommelier was elite and was Johns interactions with Common
I like 2 the more I watch it. Haven't seen 3 since the theatre. May have to run through the trilogy soon.
Seems like it is still a full go on Showtime. Revolving around The Continental and all the different patron assassins in NYC.
Fuck Donald Trump for keeping what surely will be two amazingly great films from the public. Even he could only delay the inevitability though.
This is the same thing, right? - Reclusive man has cute pet he loves - Something happens to said pet - Reclusive man has a history, and now seeks retribution
Not quite. Seems like a former chef/restaurant industry guy has a pig, presumably for truffle hunting and/or creative writing of spiderwebs, and whatever happens with that. Not a hitman or as much violence.
You're right, but they tee it up almost exactly the same as JW1. I think the actual story is kind of the anti-John Wick tbh. Audience review on rotten tomatoes (it actually has a 97% on RT): "Whatever you may think Pig will be, chances are that you will be wrong. On the surface, it appears like it's going to be another John Wick clone, with criminals stealing the beloved animal of a loner who happens to be a dangerous man who unleashes a path of vengeance. There is no real action in the movie at all."
Rewatching JW1, and goddamn this movie is so good. Has there been another movie you get that quickly, fully onboard with a character as with John after the puppy scene/carjacking scene
