I thought it was kinda funny. He seems to be legit doing it himself. It was the one thing I maybe had over him.
My ocd would have kicked in instantly and I’d have fixed it immediately. I’m sure it’s in the instructions which way to place up for the numbering though and he may have overlooked it.
Yeah, i've got the itch too after seeing y'all talk about it. Mine is 4 years old in a couple months, all things considered it's holding in really well, which is great because I can't afford to build one for a while, if ever. Thanks COVID
I am so addicted to Subnautica, it's incredible. The little submarine you can build is a game changer, discovering new stuff and building all the cool shit is like crack
I was reading it will likely require a new power connector, possibly requiring a whole new build or mobo. No idea on street date though. Complete guess? 4-6 months.
Any thoughts on whether this is legit or not? Steam is telling me $60 to download this. Much better deal if legit. https://www.g2a.com/en-us/fallout-4...xfywUFiGNJtcgp_luWYaAtEDEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
It's a legit site, but it has been controversial for years as devs have alleged the keys they sell are often stolen. This article explains it really well. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2020...n-game-key-sales-pays-40000-to-factorio-devs/
I bought that computer I posted a couple of weeks ago - so far mostly playing Civ VI, Tropico, and some boardgame adaptations .... but really it's become my wife's Sims machine..... so there's that.
I would love to play it but I don't have nearly the PC to run it, nor do I have the funds for a new build. I will eventually though, it looks incredible.
yep. now I'm going down the rabbit hole comparing how much the recommended and ideal spec systems will cost me. Dammit, I do not need the bug right now
I’m just geeked about the integration with VATSIM right off the bat. From what I can tell they’ve listened to and observed a lot of what’s kept the FSX community so strong. Wonder how long before you’ll be able to integrate apps like ForeFlight with it too
Does anyone know of a decently priced mouse that makes no clicking noise? My Pc is in the same room as bed so if I stay up late, I don’t want to disturb my partner with incessant clicking. Any advice?
my real advice is move your shit to a room far away so you can get down as long as you want without pissing off your partner.
There’s like a perfect built-in desk in the only feasible bedroom of this apartment. Has the cable outlet there and everything for modem to hardwire. But yeah, I’ll do some google fu to hone in on my silent mouse/relationship saver (exaggerating).
I used to play Diablo 2 in bed with my wife on the laptop and she bitched about it. I got a silent mouse for $20 and it was a great thing.
I made the switch to master race PC today for FPS. I’ve been playing Xbox all my life. I switched mostly because I wanted to try Warzone on PC. Third day on pc and I’m basically as good if not a little better than I ever was on console. I need to get better with some of the gameplay aspects using the keyboard (slide, prone, melee, tactical/explosive use) but my aim is definelty better and my overall movement I like better. FOV is amazing at 120. really enjoying this game right now.
I've officially got the itch to build a new system. Mine will be 4 years old next month, I'm going to need to slowly accumulate the parts and pieces so I figure it will be another 6 months before I can afford everything, that's a pretty good run for a PC these days. Going to build something upper-mid level, want it to be able to play Flight Simulator and do everything else faster, so I should be able to do that for under $1k.
I have an Omen 25. I’m pretty sure it’s 144hz. It’s not the best but I think it’s decent. I admittedly no knowing about gaming computers or gaming hardware in general. The Laptop is an Asus Rog Zephyrs G14 running Ryzen 9, 16gb memory, GeForce Rtx 2060 graphics.
It's always a wild ride because I usually take every other league off to keep it fresh. I did find this great QoL spreadsheet that made certain league aspects clearer, and I dropped $20 last night to flesh out my stash tabs, especially around frags/essences/several more sell tabs/so on. Has quickly elevated my enjoyment.
I know this isn't the IT support desk, but I have a question. I have my PC with modem/router in one part of my apartment. My tv/xbox/ps4 is on the other side but I am looking to connect via wired in order to get a stabler connection. I got off of a chat with Cox support and getting a second modem connecting to a second nearby coaxial output isn't the move. They talked about using an extender and a switch to be able to hardwire. The entertainment center devices are within wifi range, so I'm not sure what the idea of the extender is. The ethernet switch splitter () that they recommended somewhat suggests that it can connect via wifi? Am I crazy in believing that I can just get away with the switch/splitter, have no wires running to the other-side-of-the-house modem, and be able to experience a wired-esque connection?
Recently got an Alienware and am absolutely loving it. Console is a rut that you get stuck in bc it’s easy.
Battlefield is on sale on Steam. BFV. BF1. BF4. Just snagged BF4 premium on the PC for 9.99. Nostalgia time engage.
Never played it but it has always intrigued me, but Factorio is out of early access after four years.
