It took me longer to piece together this sequence A defense jumps offsides Qb takes a deep shot Defense intercepts Holds in the end zone during the return Return gets to the 15 yard line The result is 2 points for the offense
Pretty sure they were using grandma streams to watch that OSU/Hawaii game in Rey's backyard. I felt that. Kinda sucks for RJ that he doesn't have anyone in his corner that knows anything about the sport. That family friend is nice, but he probably thought RJ was NFL caliber. Rey's teammates making fun of his crying was pretty funny. But it's pretty obvious he's an emotional wreck because of his dad dying. He just tries to hide it.
I’m still scratching my head at this and why the offense didn’t take or wouldn’t have an option to accept the offsides and take 5 yards.
They could have taken the penalty and the 5 yards or declined the penalty and took the result of the play, which was holding in the endzone which is a safety. So they get 2 points and the ball back on the ensuing free kick.
I wish their season had been more successful but when you lose 2 QBs at a school like this that’s probably impossible. I didn’t fully understand the focus on RJ, he was basically their #3 WR just seemed strange they spent so much time on him.
It was so different than anything you'd encounter in Scooba or Independence and then you throw on the fact that his grandfather was a great defender of pedophilia, you can't ignore that.
I was a little skeptical, but I’m really liking this season. I don’t particularly dislike any single person in the show, which is extremely weird for the series as a whole. I’m on episode six and just finished the one where they talked about the Wrights’ father. Seeing the older brother tear up was pretty sad. Really good stuff so far. Big fan of Beam. RJ’s living situation may actually be worse than Dior’s.
Great season. Spoiler The backstories of dior and rj were both pretty heartbreaking as a relatively new father
Fucking RJ thinks he’s elite. He has no awareness and he’s not athletic enough to outrun or outmaneuver defenders.
Just did a rewatch on the first two seasons. Laney was fun and all because there wasn't a lot of bullshit to it but having people like Buddy and Kam Carter and Isaiah Wright to just dislike for various reasons is a lot of fun as well.
Just started season 5. Man fuck Dior's dad. "I was just disciplining my kid" Bullshit, you sent your kid to school in girl's clothes, with a half shaved head and who knows what else. That's fucking child abuse.
Man RJs family life went from quirky to fucked up real quick. He comes off as a douche some but damn you can see why he's got issues.
Watching the episode where the lost to San mateo and its heartbreaking seeing Dior with no family to comfort him after the loss. And then his dad's smug ass attitude at his gramdmas later. Man fuck that asshole.
I wish they dropped it last week. What bball fans are gonna have time to watch it w march madness starting
I watched the first episode last night and had to stop myself because I’ll binge this straight through if I’m not careful.
So far all the guys are pretty likable and seem like they are trying except Joe Hampton. That guy just doesn’t get it, and I would say they have been very accommodating to him and his piss poor attitude.
