They have absolutely gone off the hype beer deep end after the release (and subsequent popularity) of the best maid pickle beer.
I had never heard of White Elm Brewing from Lincoln #Nebraska Cornhuskers . It's entirely possible I drank their beer when I went to Lincoln 8 years ago for PSU-Nebraska but that game has been wrapped in such a drunken, caffeine-filled haze that I don't remember what locals I had. They make a damn fine stout though. Enjoying a PB Mood peanut butter milk stout and have a 12% banger on deck for tomorrow since they have shown up in AZ. I am a fan.
Tried both the Since Ever Since and the Jets Overhead tonight. Both were great - very well done to VTA and the rest of the Casa guys. In particular the Since Ever Since was incredible. Might be the Galaxy hops and/or the perfect combination of all the hops, but that was damn lovely. I should order more!
Wild Leap distributes out in AZ? Weird seeing a guy I know not named VTA who's beers get posted on here.
Yes. Not a super big selection but my place usually has 2-3 at a time. It's not everywhere here by any means. Feel free to tell your friend Jimmy from the internet thinks they make some terrific stouts.
I knew him in ATL. I was friends with his wife in Auburn. I've only had a few of their beers and enjoyed them when I stopped by there in February.
Nothing fancy for me tonight but Leinenkugel Canoe Paddle Kolch is about perfect sitting down to watch golf after cutting the grass
I know some of you other fucks are already drinking. I'm looking at you Owsley . I can usually count on you for early Friday beers.
I’m a big fan of their hop hut and small batch releases. I honestly never drank the flagship stuff then they started doing these (and we moved less than a mile from the brewery) and now I drink it as much, if not more, than anything else. If you’re ever interested, I’d be happy to send some cans your way to see for yourself.
Yeah, I'd love to try a few. Are these brewery only releases? I assume so since I never see them here. I tried some of their flagship stuff early on and was less than impressed. The stuff you've been posting looks a lot better though.
I drank a ton of Darker Subject Matter at the beginning of the pandemic. It was like $14 for a decent 13% BA stout.
