LoL Imagine having the Cubs pockets and signing Hernan Perez. I didn't even realize he was gone. If Sogard is our Hernan Perez, that's a good thing. We just have to see if they do anything more at 3rd.
Went Golfing at Edgewood yesterday and and that was an experience. The island green surrounded by ice was cool. Hitting up some of the local dive bars with family today and a big family poker game while my fiancé’s family takes her to Paint and Sip. Tomorrow will be the more active day, have tickets to the noon tour at MKE, then the plan is to mosey on to Lakefront for lunch and another tour. Then gunna try to find some stuff around there to do before the game. The art museum sounds intriguing. Where is the Eagle Park brewery in relation to all that? Thanks again guys! Sunday future my brother in law and his cousins are taking me a few hours north in search of snow lol.
You're going to have to go extremely north for snow. 2 hours north of where you are and you'll find melted patches here and there. Good luck though! Eagle Park is a 5 minute drive from the stadium. Sounds like it's been a fun time!
Well if you wanna see some snow, travel up north about 2 hours. Supposed to get 10 inches tonight. Meanwhile, it's 51 degrees.
Interesting that he seemed like a guy that was a boom or bust type prospect to arrive here. I guess they see the floor now as legit long relief. Makes sense for Freddy as that is not what gets paid in arbitration.
I'm more concerned about getting no-hit by Chatwood on a 95 degree day with a 15 mph wind blowing out to dead center You expect pitchers to have s bad time on days like today
I don't understand why Arcia is the first to the bench in every situation when he's actually hitting. Sogard has a good obp but it would be nice to keep Arcia going. Also, the fee AB's I've seen of Yelich looks like he's trying to hit hr's instead of line drives like the past. Or he may be doing the same thing as 2019 but maybe the ball isn't juiced anymore ant this balls aren't going over the fence.
1b Huira 2b Sogard 3b Urias SS Arcia Would be nice if these guys would all hit and we wouldn't have to fuck around with Smoak/Morrison.
This team stinks, and there is no farm system, and no room for payroll, and the luck of turning cast offs into all stars probably has run out. I think Stearns is really smart when it comes to roster construction, but we need cheap reinforcements from the farm and that is not on the horizon.
Hope there are some guys that at least have a good month that we can sell. Have a crappy year and get some good draft capital out of it.
Burnes figuring shit out would be nice. A couple more good long outings and move him to the rotation.
I tricked myself into thinking this team could be good because so many random cast offs have worked but that luck has apparently ran out. I mean Christ we had Thames and Aguilar and had to let Ji Man Choi just walk. Now they are all gone and we have fucking Smoak and Morrison.
Maybe we can trade for Gio and Lyles for nothing since they suck again and turn them back into useful players. #Texas Rangers #Chicago White Sox What's it going to take and how much money will you pay?
From Jaffe's write-up [Update: MLB.com’s Adam McCalvy reports that the Brewers will get three young righties, namely 19-year-olds Juan Geraldo and Israel Puello, and 20-year-old Brandon Ramey, the last of whose birthday is today. All of them struck out more than 30% of the hitters they faced in Rookie ball in 2019; Ramey and Geraldo in the Gulf Coast League, Puello in the Dominican Summer League. In February, Eric Longenhagen wrote that Ramey, a 30th-round pick in 2018, “is a very tall young righty with a lower arm slot. His changeup has a chance to be very good.”]
