Cam Mack to Prairie View A&M after withdrawing his name from the draft. One of the more notable super geniuses to ever come through UNL.
Gmafb...they come out and say they still want to play and are looking at options and you two lose your mind about going against the B1G and how dumb that is, yada, yada. They come out and say what they did and you bitch about that too just like you did. Real easy to second guess the leaders of an organization isn't it? They're the refs and you're the shit parents in the stands who complain about fucking everything.......which is incredibly ironic considering..
Always nice when the local schoolmarm chimes in. Have a link to me losing my mind about going against the B1G? TIA.
I'm in favor of the Big Ten having cancelled. I think it's right, and I wish all conferences were doing it. If the ACC and SEC pull it off without major hitches, though, it's going to be a strange strange feeling.
https://www.rollingstone.com/music/...roubadours-evan-felker-interview-1043568/amp/ Only good thing to happen to 2020
Only way they pull it off without major hitches is if the 'vid goes the way of its predecessor cousin (SARS). It does not seem wont to do that.
The whole “cancel” vs. “postpone” issue is 100% something Jim Delany would have made crystal clear from the get go, IMO. That dude was all about the legalese.
Love the outrage in this state over no cfb combined with the fact that most of the people here will gleefully vote for the man responsible
Not much of a leap. Trump definitely made the risks and devastation much, much worse than it should have been. He may not have "started the 'rona" but he ended programs to prevent its spread. Spoiler Under President Donald Trump, the U.S. has withdrawn from several international partnerships and antagonized its allies. It has a seat on the WHO’s executive board, but left that position empty for more than two years, only filling it this May, when the pandemic was in full swing. Since 2017, Trump has pulled more than 30 staffers out of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s office in China, who could have warned about the spreading coronavirus. Last July, he defunded an American epidemiologist embedded within China’s CDC. America First was America oblivious.
Is it Trump's fault the virus exists? No Is the historically bad response to it solely Trump's fault? No Was the historically bad response exacerbated by Trump? 100% Yes. Would we have football with a more unified message from + constructive actions taken by leadership, both governmental and college athletics? Most likely.
Yep I'll just disregard all my patients with raging infections today cuz I didn't invent staphylococcus
I'm not even mad. I'm just impressed. We have a sitting US President who has successfully lowered the bar so far that a large chunk of the population now only holds him accountable to address the problems he, himself, creates.
I don’t have a fight in any party, but all this talk about pedophilia and Biden being beyond weird coming from the right... do they not remember that our shit president actually said to grab em by the pussy?
To use Husker football as an example, it’s kind of like the fans who still blame firing Solich for why Nebraska isn’t good in 2020.
My only hope for this situation (NU/B10), is that maybe it just kind of pisses everyone off within the AD/fanbase and everyone gets on the same page. Not saying I disagree with the B10, but it’d be kind of cool if it sparked some motivation to finally get better. I’ve always felt like B10 treats Nebraska like the odd man out (yes we don’t help that), so why not embrace it and try to get some “revenge”.
I don’t blame them. At this point we’re just Rutgers/Maryland (money source) with a better gameday atmosphere
it's always projection, my guy. If we accuse the other side of the type of degeneracy we get up to, it confuses the people who aren't paying close attention. And most people can't pay close attention. Also some of them are full on Trump God-King cult status
