Still not 100% sold on all the design choices, but the story looks to harken to the mystery-stories that I love so much from Batman comics. So that alone sells me. Pattinson is going to kill it, too.
At least DC has managed to make this as confusing as a comic book universe. A lot of the stuff coming out today looks good, but I want that Suicide Squad movie.
May as well since they hurried to try to make their own cohesive cinematic universe and mostly failed spectacularly
I mean I’m definitely burned out on Batman, was expecting nothing was shocked at how excited I got watching that trailer I’m in
Right they could easily fix all of this with Flashpoint and reset the universe, but they're dumb as fuck and probably won't
Pattinson’s fight trainer is the same guy that trained Keanu for John Wick so I have high hopes for the fight scenes in this movie
Excitement level 1. The Batman 2. Suicide Squad 3. WW 1984 4. Gotham Knights 5. Snyder Cut 6. Suicide Squad Game
James Gunn’s Troma background and the fact the DC shithead execs gave him complete control, has me excited to see a big budget off the wall Suicide Squad.
Idk why, but felt very John Wick fight style to me and I am all for it. Is this movie supposed to be R or PG-13? Hopefully with success of Joker, this will lead to more R rated movies. Think it would be smart move on DC part to make movies with that tone compared to "fun" Marvel movies.
For all of you dirty, dirty thieves out there, Superman: Man of Tomorrow out there on the torrance. Spoiler I thought it was ok. Not one of their best efforts, and I was hoping for more for the start of their “new” DCAU after Apokolips War (which was amazing). They were definitely heavy handed in some of the political aspects in America right now.
I thought he was out after the stuff currently in production, and Pattinson was going to take over in the larger universe going forward?
i don’t think they have a long term plan for anything At this point I think they’re just trying to produce consecutive commercial and critical successes and seeing where it goes from there
Yeah sounds like they're just throwing as much crap at the wall as they can and hoping something sticks. And then they'll try to build on that, a la Harley Quinn.
WB/DC is just going to lean heavily into the multiverse, and let different takes on various properties coexist. They see that as easier or better or more flexible than the MCU-style "one, big, interconnected universe'
Is that the same extended version that was released with the Blu Ray? Or is this another version with another 30+ minutes added to that version?
