Yo I know it can be hard to commit to a season of subtitles but this is a phenomenal show. It's a cop/spy drama set in the waning days of Weimar, packed with political intrigue, loaded with outstanding performances, and it's downright beautiful to look at - the art direction, set design and editing are all ridiculously on point. Supposedly this is the biggest budget TV series not in English ever... trust me it shows.
Oooohhh gonna add it to the list. I prefer watching anything foreign with subtitles. Dubbing is awful regardless of how good. Thanks for the rec!
Starting e1 now gonna finally watch altered carbon after in prep for S2 then probably going to watch the expanse S3 or S4 I think. I’m anxiously awaiting it, but I need something I know is quality to watch in between stuff that may not be ha ..If that makes sense
Started it last night. Love it so far. Love this time in history. I recently went on a deep delve on Wikipedia on the Trotsky/Stalin relationship. Fascinating.
Gonna check it out. Been looking for something new. Started Jan De Lechte but stopped after a few episodes when I heard it had one season.
JDL? Some idiot told me the ending too. He said it’s been a few years so he figured people would know. On the second episode of Babylon, so far so good. But not earth shattering.
Finally got around to s3. Still love the show for all of the reasons in the OP. Spoiler I sure as shit could have done without forensics insaneypants' nonsense in ep 11...
S4 hasn’t hit Netflix, but looks like it’s coming to a lot of places this fall Looks like there was some stuff going on behind the scenes. S5 looks like it is going to maybe happen https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/t...th-season-without-sky-deutschland-1235526158/
