Top down bullet hell game from Devolver, each time you restart the levels are completely different and you can only save, and use the save, once per game mode so it’s challenging. It’s on GP and Im hooked on it for sure.
Agree with this review. Only thing I will add is it's like playing a BR but everyone is mainlining crack.
The store's been down for a couple hours now. I've been trying to buy PGA 2k21 with no success. You can't download content either...and the Avengers beta download should be available for pre-install.
its my favorite yet. having to out play your enemy > aiming faster than your enemy. also i live for high mobility games. map needs a lot of work.
The aiming settings need a lot of work. I played on pc too and it’s a completely different game. The response curve on console is busted. but it’s still crazy fun. And requires intense teamwork. map could use some more variation.
Base version says you get access to the warehouse demo. Otherwise Chipotle was giving it away with the tony hawk burrito earlier. Don’t think that still active though.
Still impatiently waiting for both Wild Rift, Roller Champions and Fall Guys. The first 2, particularly Roller Champions, have been delayed into oblivion. Edit: I'm really confused about Roller Champions, you see this tweet from just over a year ago, then leave perplexed onto wtf the holdup is for this game? It sounded like an almost complete product, but now they're redesigning it? Sadly, if even released, I think this game will be great, but also not do great. It had so much momentum and promise, and now everyone has kind of forgotten about it.
Haven't spent a time of time with it yet (about 4 hours this past weekend), but here you go: The game itself is good. Putting took me a bit to get used to. In career mode, you don't build your character up, you just get different clubs. Doesn't seem like you can build up a huge distance guy. Easy mode is too easy, but I'm not shooting -20 like I would if it was one of the old Tiger Woods game, so that's good. More like -7/-8 (probably low 60s consistently with more practice) I've read that hte course designer stuff is really great once you get the hang of it and there should be a ton of user-created content.
Anyone playing madden yet? This is literally the same game as last year, which I know we say every year but holy shit they really didn’t change a thing
So I never played the Golf Club and I want a good golf game. Is the PGA 2k game decent? I will judge it against Tiger Woods games from yesteryear.
Played about 5 hours of WL3 last night. Super solid game. The entire last hour I was telling myself I was gonna get off but just kept doing quests and trying different shit. Pumped.
Xcom gameplay with a falloutesque world. WL3 is supposed to have a lot of micromanaging of rpg elements. WL2 was pretty damn good. I’d recommend.
I have PGA2K21 for PS4, but had TGC for Xbox. IMO it's been a pretty solid game for me so far. It's probably a tad more realistic/challenging than Tiger games were. For example, you can't control the ball's spin mid-air and make sure it rolls the direction you want. That said, there's a few different difficulties that can kind of give you the amount of realism/difficulty you may want. I have mostly focused offline career mode, but the online "society" seems pretty cool. Also, people are able to create their own course, and upload it so you can play it on your system. That makes up for the fact they don't have a huge selection of courses. You can download Augusta, etc. People do an amazing job on these too. There's also just random custom courses that people make that can be fun. On TGC, I remember downloading a course that was basically putt putt golf. Not the most in depth review here, but yeah its been a pretty fun game so far.
If you like rogue likes and 16 bit Zelda, there’s a new rogue like called undermine on game pass and I think it’s great
As someone who has put like 15-20 hours into it already, you absolutely have only scratched the surface. On that note, is there a way, while not on my Xbox, to see how many hours I've put into a game?
So I just got a new PC that I'll probably do some mild gaming on. Was going to buy the new Crusader Kings game to fuck around with. It's on Game Pass
Has anyone played the Kingdom Hearts games? I just downloaded KH III and I feel like I needed to play the previous version to understand a pretty deep storyline. The game itself I fantastic. The worlds are amazing. My son and daughter love watching me play. I let my 6 yo give the toy story land a try and he cleared the level till the final battle. I was impressed.
