Love this. So true. That movie is a bonafide classic. Always will be, and will always be near the top of superhero movie rankings.
I assume they're going to film everything they can that doesn't feature Pattinson. Maybe use doubles for some Batman shots.
I actually like the idea that Joe Chill could be a cop that murdered and was covered-for by the other cops, giving Batman a motivation for working outside the law. I still like the simple origin story of a petty criminal motivating Bruce to fight crime. It's clean and simple. Still, this guys alternate take is messy and less introspective, but it works as an alternate take.
I don't believe they have said but Gotham has always been timeless. There will be old cars/tech etc. but then modern day stuff as well. I think they are going the same route from the set pics we have seen.
Selina Kyle scratches his face during an attempted heist in one of the comics. In the exact same spot
Having not seen any of this news, I was going to quote that first post with a “yeah, we’ll see”. Made it two posts before seeing the news
The filming today has a lot of pumpkins in the scenes. I wonder if those guys Bats goes all vengeance on are in costume. Maybe from a Halloween party? I want a Bats/Cat scene at a Halloween party
I'm still angry this isn't releasing in October. I'd be angry if they moved it UP. October is just too perfect for this.
Michael Keaton, Robert Pattinson and Ben Affleck will all play Batman in 2022 films - CNET I assume: Keaton and Affleck in Flash, and Pattinson in The Batman. Though I would love for a Batman Beyond movie.
Still bummed we aren't getting it this year. Hopefully shit will be better by then and the theaters can be full by the time it releases.
