he should have never been able to walk free again. I think (for the most part) if you take a life you forfeit your freedom.
Seasons 1-2 on Prime. 3-5 on Hulu. 7 is on historychannel.com if you have a cable log in. Great show. Watched because of the recommendations on the board, and now have my entire famly watching it.
Watched I’m thinking about ending things ;/ I don’t think I’m smart enough to understand jt Bizarre movie imo
Just finished as well and I had no idea either. If you go to the imdb reviews the first one is an explanation. That being said fuck this movie. I’ve never felt my time so wasted after watching a movie.
How? Top 5 includes the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 best players imo. Why does "Top 5" mean your discluding the top 3 or even the top spot? It shouldn't Unless you think he's 6-10 or lower, which is insane.
charlie kaufman disappears into his own ass in most his later movies, his early stuff is great and accessible
Oh I just assumed you were being sarcastic since he’s clearly the GOAT. I mean I get arguments for Walt, Bill, Kareem, and Wilt too but for 4 of them it was a different game.
Who's the 4th? Magic? Assuming you mean Kobe, MJ, and Lebron as 3 of those. This article has Kobe 9th which I think is silly. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29105801/ranking-top-74-nba-players-all-nos-10-1
Maybe it’s just me, but I personally don’t have a guy who has gone 3-6 in the finals in my top 5. MJ, Kobe, Magic, Wilt, Kareem would probably be my top 5. Russell, LeBron, Shaq, Dr. J, Oscar, Duncan, Bird, and Moses would be the next 8 or so in no particular order.
Ok... getting things back on track. If, like me, you're always looking for a good "binge worthy", multi season TV show then check out Rake. I'm mostly through the first season and it's damn good. It's an Australian comedy-drama.
Best description I was able to come across... Richard Roxburgh plays Cleaver Greene, a talented but self-destructive lawyer who uses unconventional methods and usually defends those beyond redemption. With unyielding optimism he takes on only the most difficult court cases that no one else wants, from suicide bombing to sex offences and thefts to psychotic school girl drama. At the same time the Sydney lawyer tries to put his personal life in order, where his addiction to short term highs and women land him into trouble.
The last dance is a great doc, it really makes non dumbass people realize that Jordan is a top one player of all time
If you've ever seen Californication, the main character in Rake is like a lawyer version of David Duchovny in that show.
I haven't seen that show but I remember Zach Morris is one of those guys, right? This show does a good job of continuing his livelihood storyline from episode to episode.
Yes. It was def more comedy than serious but had some semi-deep subplots. It was also the first time I saw Kumail Nanjiani. I think he landed Silicon Valley shortly after it ended.
I watched a pretty good movie named Forrest Gump the other day on showtime, not sure if any of you heard about it. that lead actor is pretty good. Can’t remember his name right now. Anyway you guys should check it out.
it’s a top 100 movie of all time, meaning it could be number one but it could also be number 97 sandwiched between aliens and Ferris bueller’s day off
I saw the American version with Greg Kinnear that only lasted one season, it was alright. Might have to check it out. I went on a run of binging Australian shows during the lockdown and found quite a few that were good like Glitch, Wentworth, and Mystery Road to name a few.
Why they always getting dysentery and gut aches from those animals? Don’t they know how to properly cook a muskrat spleen or nah?
Watched “Leave no Trace” on Prime last night. Ben Foster and the girl from JoJo Rabbit. Really wanted to love it, The Road style. It was solid but I wouldn’t go out of your way to watch it.
