Man...2020 has been a real kick in the nuts. Check out this satellite picture showing the crop aftermath of the derecho.
I'll see your 97 and 41 and raise you to 105 Sunday, 38 Tuesday. Golf tournament sunday in that shit, back to work Tuesday in worse shit.
Oh i meant bullshit in the sense that I'm not ready for cold and snow. I want a fall. Too often the bottom just falls out and we go from summer to winter
Idk if it's just 2020 wearing on me, but this is the first year in a while where I've felt down about summer ending. I suspect it's worrying about cold weather + covid keeping us indoors. I've been hiking a lot this year too, not ready for that to end.
Minneapolis is making a run at the largest single day October snowstorm on record right now. We had 8.2 inches on Halloween in 1991 (plus an additional 18+ inches on November 1, so that was still the bigger event). Will see what MSP ends up reporting, but there are a lot of 5-6 inch reports right now in the Twin Cities, and we have had periods of 2"+ of snow in an hour (on radar, we have pockets of 50-60 dBZ showing up on radar that is entirely snow). Still have a couple hours to go to add to the total.
Seems like that part of Illinois has one of these type of days every year between November - January.
I’m literally right in that path and it’s windy as a motherfucker here. Trying to take off by noon to avoid the storm
This new radar page will have some level ii data (higher res). Finally moving into the 21st century. It does seem a bit clunky still (to me), but perhaps it'll get better
