i kinda fell off drinking bourbon much over the summer but it's cold here today and costco had it so why not at 109 proof and my current tolerance level this could end poorly
Speaking of, the 2020 was released. Haven't seen it yet, but I'll assume it's similarly priced to last year, $70.
I picked up a store pick New Riff from party source a couple weeks ago and I've found it to be fucking delicious.
I guess, this guy bought it at party source. It had a party source store pick label and a single barrel don’t think all new riff is SB
Just messing. I actually trust PS store picks across the board. No, not all NR is single barrel. My joke fell short about all NR being Party Source picks, because PS owns New Riff distillery, I believe. It's adjacent to the PS building in the same lot.

If you're talking about the SE4 x PR5, it's 60 in NC. Been around since mid-August and very very good IMO.
BTAC 2020 Specs from Whiskywash.com George T. Stagg The proverbial powerhouse favorite of the Antique Collection, George T. Stagg, comes in at 130.4 proof this year. Last year’s release was awarded 97 points in the 2020 Ultimate Spirits Collection, and fans will find the familiar Stagg taste profile they know and love with cinnamon, caramel and cherries on the nose, and a creamy vanilla with lightly smoked oak on the palate. The finish is black coffee, dark cherries and herbs. This year’s release contains bourbon from barrels filled in the spring of 2005. Storage location of these barrels varied across warehouses L, K and Q. The evaporation loss for this year’s batch was 59%, a bit higher than the last few year’s releases. William Larue Weller The Antique Collection’s uncut, unfiltered, wheated recipe bourbon is William Larue Weller. Not sure if anyone reads whiskyfun, but this review got me good. Never seen a score of 1 before George Dickel ‘Tabasco Barrel Finish’ (35%, OB, USA, +/-2019) Wha-a-a-t indeed? Long story short, this is Dickel finished in Tabasco (so flavoured, Doritos-style) and bottled at a lower strength, possibly because it was pretty offensive at 40% or more. My guess… Colour: gold. Nose: pretty horrible. Some sour harissa, too light, green pepper… What’s the point here? I love Tabasco and am kind of fond of George Dickel, but this is just a good example of two fine juices killing each other if you ask me. Possibly the most pointless alcoholic drink ever, even before Haig Club. Mouth: Fireball anytime! This is terrible, too sugary and too full of chillies at the same time, and just undrinkable. Wrecks your palate – well it wrecked mine – and to tell you the truth, I wouldn’t even try to pour this over Hawaiian pizza. That’s right, the one with pineapples that hipsters in Alabama adore. Finish: couldn’t tell you, I’ve rinsed my mouth with marc de gewurztraminer at still strength. Comments: a ‘whisky’ as stupid as a voice assistant while it won’t even give you yesterday’s weather or play ‘Imagine’ by John Lennon. Or indeed ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’ by Bob D. I’m not even sure I’ll ever manage to get my glass clean, better just toss it in a very remote (because of the smell) dumpster. I suppose this was another late-night idea straight from a dinner at the Rotary-Club. SGP:690 - 1 points.
NYGator just getting around to tasting the AE cask strength 2019. That port finish really comes through, great pour that's incredibly smooth at the proof and sweet enough for my pallet. Thank you for sharing this one. I'd buy this at retail if I could find it.
What is the retail on CYPB, $40? I don’t even know what’s reasonable upcharge or secondary on it anymore, just stopped trying.
lol not sitting on a shelf. recently random online drops (only ships within state), sells out in under a minute
im sure i will. there is a long line of people who have helped me get bottles at the front of the line. but I've had some major expenses recently, so i may sell on secondary cause i need the money for some big purchases
Last month and a half has been crazy so I am a bit checked out. Been on multiple vacations and have a lot going on with work, my daughter going to college, prep for my local soccer club (reluctantly on the board for now), and the fact that I couldn't even taste bourbon properly for awhile, so I was barely drinking or buying. BTW, I noticed this week my taste is back and for some reason it is better than ever. Edit: I had Weller FP the other night and it tasted as good as any Pappy experience I had, and hadn't had that with it prior.
