I want to say it used to be a pale ale. I just remember it being a bit bland compared to their other offerings, but I could be completely misremembering.
Pretty sure you're right about it being a pale ale. I don't really remember how I felt about it. This year's is good though.
For sure. My buddy has a beer Instagram with ~4K followers and is always tagged or doing the what you drinking thing.
This guy is a dope but I'm always jealous of his beer fridge. He bought one of the houses across from Lambeau and keeps it for a gameday tailgate party house
No pictures but enjoyed an Unknown 4.5ish, then a Pliny the Elder, followed by a Westbrook Mexican Cake this weekend. Been a while since I have delved into the beers and now I want all of them again.
Looks like they all got there in one piece! Just cracked my first one last night. Good Boy Wally was incredible. So smooth for 10%
A few of my favorite Florida IPAs (Tallahassee is actually a pretty great spot with our local and surrounding breweries). This one (in a Georgia Glass) is brewed with Nelson and is one of the best I’ve had in a long while.
Not a fan of mad manatee. Pulp friction is always a go to I member when proof was just a new small liquor store
Thanks for the support. Pulp Friction is one of the coolest stories ever, it was supposed to be two batches (60BBL), now its 52% of our sales. If you're ever in Bradenton (or Orlando, were opening the new spot next week) hit me up. Also Deep is killing it up that way, those guys are really good friends. We've done a few collabs. Doing another one with them next month.
Ology is a dope spot. I think they opened a 2nd location, but I went to the OG last summer driving back after seeing The Stones in Jax. Everything I had there was dope, plus they had a couple Garagiste on tap.
Like I said we’re spoiled here but I consider them the best overall brewery (beer wise) in the area. Owner and I’s sons played baseball together and he’s as awesome as can be. While Deep does everything amazing Ology just absolutely kills it with IPAs and Sours. They closed the second location (that was 5 min from my house) due to Covid but actually opened a third location on the north side of town. They’ve started a distillery that should be announcing an opening soon and I can’t tell you how exited I am for that.
Zack Zedalis have you tried Celestial’s Single Star? Single hopped with Nelson. Science Friction is a really good one they just put out too. Incredibly fresh and pillowy soft with Strata and Nelson
