A billion percent this. You’ll be sore for a few days, then it will subside and you’ll never think about it again.
she somehow has gotten thinner in the right places and thicker in the right places plus gotten tanner. Boo MFer! called her ugly itt not sure how I didn’t thread ban him, but all you bitches get sloppy seconds behind me with her
I feel like since they opened the new studio they put in a tanning bed for the instructors since they all seem way more tan than before the new studio opened.
I have one and the chafing sucked for awhile, but I'm fine now. Doing the bike bootcamps is helpful because you don't spend as long on the bike at one time since the ride is broken up. You still get your miles in.
I haven't posted in here in a while, but if you're following the thread and on the fence, I'd tell you that getting the bike/classes is well worth the $3k cost. Big fan of the Bootcamp classes at the moment.
I’m jealous. I’ve ran on one a few times and it is the best thing ever. The OG thread is the best so before you order make sure the downgrade is good. Trust me the difference might be worth it in this case.
i never rode indoors before peloton. I was an outdoor cyclist. So I had cycling shorts. I think they are a waste of money for cycling classes. You’re not in the saddle long enough in a 90 minute ride to justify biking shorts.
Just pulled the trigger on the older model pretty pumped Was given an October 16 delivery :/ I just bought a road bike two months ago. Pretty curious to see which one I end up doing more
Any recommendations for shoes besides the peloton brand? I have mine from my spin class days and the peloton clips won’t fit on. The clips now slide in a little bit but not 100%. Should I just bite the $150 on the Peloton shoes?
Do cycling shoes make a big difference? The bikes in my gym have the toe cages so I've just been wearing running shoes
Yes, you lose power on the upstroke. Cages are better than nothing, but cleats are better than cages. But since its a gym bike cages are fine
There aren't cleats on the underside? I've belonged to some ratchet gyms but I think all of them have had an SPD cleat on the reverse side of the cage.
There are, just wasn't sure if it would be better to get the shoes and wear them than what I've been doing.
These. https://tommasobikes.com/products/roma-mens-urban-multi-use-cycling-shoes Possibly the ugliest shit I’ve ever bought but they’re relatively cheap and well made.
Think I’m going to purchase the old bike now that the price is down. GF has wanted one forever, and I figure even when she’s tired of using it in like 2 weeks I’ll convince myself to ride it as much as possible. Couple of random questions: Anyone do the 0% finance option? Also, I assume most of the accessories like the mat, shoes, etc I can find alright options elsewhere like amazon? Does this thing come assembled or do I have to mess around with that after it arrives?
There's a paid version and a free version. It keeps track of you mileage and other stats. Did the 0% a few years ago with 4 years subscription incorporated. I got the shoes but bought a mat off Amazon. Mine came assembled but my buddy's came and they put it together at his house.
Well, shit. I just received a cancellation email saying they can’t deliver my bike tomorrow, but will call tomorrow to reschedule. If they put me at the back of the line, I’m going to blast them. Positive is they gave me $100 credit for the inconvenience.
I enjoy looking at your real names on Strava and trying to guess who’s who. I’m struggling with who FrankReynolds is though.
That's what we did. pretty easy process. my minimum payment is like $70 a month but i am paying around $500/month just to get rid of the debt.
This was my plan, as long as there’s no pre payment penalty I figured why not pay it off as I want in a sense.
Bike boot camp rides are up. Going to try out a 45 minute one with Jess Simms. Hopefully BAE does something
I saw Apple released some type of monthly workout plan for the Apple Watch...maybe Peloton will decrease the monthly membership lol
Apple announced a new watch today that ships next week. Should they offer refunds for everyone who bought a watch in the last 90 days?
Bike bootcamp was the shit. That’s going to be the go to workouts I hope BAE does some if not she is going get bumped down.
Yeah that was awesome. Just finished. Kinda weird it tracks your bike stats as if it's a 45 min ride when you're only on bike for 24 mins. Nonetheless it was a great workout and bae simms looked fine as hell.
Is the current referral code offer everyone else is seeing $100 to spend on gear? Referring a friend and I thought the one I signed up with on the spring was $150 so want to make sure I'm getting and giving the best referral code.
In a 45 minute bootcamp it was 5 min warmup ride the 8 mins of bike intervals. Then 11 mins on floor, 11 mins on bike, 10 mins on floor. I do the floor part in my socks so I just take off and put on bike shoes twice.
11-12 minutes in the saddle then about the same out. Twice. So bike, lift, bike, lift. She gave you time to take off and put on your shoes. Basically that was your rest time. had my yoga mat and two pairs of dumbbells on the right side of my bike. Luckily the movement off the bike wasn’t too much so I had room.
