The BB58 is the most comfortable watch I own, by a long shot. Once the novelty of the Milgauss wears off, I’m certain the BB58 will resume it’s spot as my daily wear.
I’ll be honest. I do like the coral and yellow OP’s. If they have them available, then I will check them out in the store.
Got bored the other night and bought a Hamilton Ventura Automatic. Not really my style, but I wanted to check out the fit. Not a bad little watch, but I can't imagine I'll wear it more than once or twice. Bought the smaller quartz version, too (1957 heritage) and hate it so much I won't even take a picture. The leather strap on that one is insanely stiff and cheap feeling.
Sounds like it’s in need of a service, but beautiful speed master with original band and box. This is a good price. Especially if you can get him down just a bit under his $1,999 ask.
Hokeamania I've seen that Ventura so many times and I've thought to myself "who the fuck wears something like that?" I didn't anticipate the answer being someone with a collection like yours
The best part of that post is the innocuous line right I the middle, “Bought the smaller quartz version, too (1957 heritage) and hate it so much I won't even take a picture.“

It's a great looking watch but I posted it because I thought the Roberto Clemente thing was really cool. Obviously they used Pirates colors, but they subtly marked the '21' date in gold, and made 3000 production models for each of his career hits. I think it's tastefully done and a very cool LE as compared to most others out there.
That Oris color scheme is very similar to my Panerai radiomir. Love that it can be worn with a lot of different attires
It's really gorgeous. That speckled gold paint on the numerals and the date pointer is really really something and the knurling Oris uses on their bezels is very nice looking as well.
Got offered the 5712 at retail by my connect yesterday. $41k. Had to pass and will keep waiting for the 5711. Hell of a watch though.
It was $105 with taxes, free shipping. Free $60? Absolutely. And you’re talking to a guy that flips rare bourbon to idiot whisky “collectors” that I pick up in rural Georgia for double and triple retail. I have no problem helping a fool part with his money, especially considering the watch sale would be done completely via mail and not even require a face to face meeting.
Ordered and will be wearing mine. I’ll be able to interchange between that and my other gshock that’s bulkier
Lmfao new Sub on the GRAY MARKET for $18k! https://www.jomashop.com/rolex-subm...meter-black-dial-mens-watch-126610lnbkso.html
What the fuck. I can't imagine it's hard to walk into a Rolex store and order a sub. At worst, it should maybe take a few months to get it.
$1,500 for a watch with a Seiko NH35? https://zelos-watches.myshopify.com/collections/swordfish-diver?mc_cid=5f2333b3e1&mc_eid=fb59b93bd5
I have an older 34mm OP and it wears larger than you would think (I’m a 6.8” wrist). The lug-to-lug on it is 44mm. Thinking the 36mm OP would be reasonable or at least similar to a Datejust, and the 41mm will be good if not. Curious what this will mean for the Explorer 1, as it’s the only 39mm in the Rolex lineup now.
As I sit here attempting to do work and keep myself busy while waiting for my purchase to arrive, I now understand the appeal of buying from a local AD and walking out the door with a purchase.
Got my Gshock in. This is definitely going into regular rotation. Super light, comfortable and functional.
Glad you all like it. I sent the link to my wife, so she can grab it for me... she gets pissed when I buy stuff for myself right before my birthday. I’m sure she’ll wait too long & I’ll end up grabbing it for myself. Currently loving the green
