Series X. Will be upgrading TVs shortly and with the PlayStation exclusives being on PS4 for a while I don’t need the PS5 upgrade anytime soon.
Eventually Series X, but probably not for at least a year since there’ll be a longer wait for Xbox next gen exclusives.
Also are we sharing presale info/tips/reservations with each other like back in ‘13 or is this every man for himself?
Based on the PS5 debacle, I wouldn’t count on using Amazon. Scalpers abused their system as best I can tell. My advice is to sign in to a few sites and add your CC info ahead of time. Seems like places like Target and Best Buy added layers to avoid scalpers as best as possible.
Just be ready on multiple outlets at 10:59AM ET on Tuesday. Not much else you can do. Like I said yesterday though, I don't think either of these consoles are going to end up being hard to get your hands on come launch day.
Gotta give credit to Microsoft for at least attempting to reduce the barrier of entry and Trojan horse their way into houses via all access and the Series S. Fully into getting people into the eco system as soon as easily as they can. Just wait until the y start pushing game pass to people with no consoles. Just wish Apple’s TOS were different.
I don’t even need one since I’m going to just play Xbox stuff on pc but even I’m tempted by that deal.
I probably won't ever use it but pulling up an Xbone game on my phone through the Game Pass app is cool as fuck
Saw this that could also help... https://www.windowscentral.com/xbox-series-x-xbox-series-s-retailers?amp&__twitter_impression=true
Serious question. I have Xbone, Switch, Oculus Rift S and I occasionally play overwatch. Should I get a PS5 or XSX? Last I had was a ps3 and I got fed up after I replaced 2 BR drives, so I haven't played any of the last of us. I love COD zombies, Dying Light, Resident Evil etc.
I'm an extremely casual gamer who never had a ps4 so is getting a ps5 to play the exclusives on it and the 4 games I missed. Might get the new Xbox eventually, but iirc money isn't really a factor for you so
I'm not swimming in it but single surgeon, I need something to combat the stress and existential dread. Spoiler
was about to ask about this $P1 or anyone else will everything be backwards compatible or just the stuff that already is? Is there a list of OG Xbox games that will be backward compatible? TIA
Pretty sure its stuff that already is backwards compatible. But I only have xbox one games, so thats fine with me. Although it'd be nice to backwards compatible ncaa football 14. But the controllers for Xbox one are backwards compatible too which is nice I can use my current controllers too
i have some OG games that I keep my 360 to play. It would be nice to be able to play them on the new system.
Hotshot racing on game pass is a blast with friends. Even my friends who don’t like racing games are enjoying it.
I will be getting the Series X....and then I think I may splurge for the disc-less version of the PS5 whenever it has it's first "sale"
"Presenting......Skyrim for next gen" Honestly though, that's pretty impressive. Would be crazy if Starfield released straight to GamePass.
Xbox also says it "will be adding Bethesda’s iconic franchises to Xbox Game Pass for console and PC." A press release added that Bethesda’s future games will be added, at launch, into Xbox Game Pass on Xbox or PC. hot damn what a move
No idea how the new console will play, though I’m optimistic, but I have to admit that this is a complete 180 from what we saw leading up to the One.
Skyrim is best with mods as we all know. Would the game coming to Game Pass PC come with that flexibility? Game Pass PC Crusader Kings 3 has some mods through Paradox community, e.g., but Steam is where all the mod workshop magic happens. Something I’d be interested in knowing.
Anyone think AmEx concierge service could get it quicker tomorrow? Like they will be quick once it goes live? I’ve used them in the past for concert tix and always scored.
yeah. Going to try it and try on my own. If I get an extra one I’ll just sell at market price to someone with a kid
Will preorder allow for the 2 year buy option? I mean there’s no sense in not doing that since it actually breaks out cheaper and I’m already paying for gamepass ultimate.
