Also, what the actual fuck. NSFW. https://kfor.com/news/local/body-ca...r-village-officer-charged-in-deadly-shooting/
The wanton endangerment is for bullets that went into other apartments no charges for a literal murder. amazing. Fuck everything, burn it down
AGs and DAs are just as complicit as the cops. Those people are more concerned with conviction rates, their next job and appeasing the people they work with daily in the PD than actually doing what is right.
Black people in America are constantly shown their lives matter less. You don’t have to be black to be sicken by this shit. Fuck it’s so fucking infuriating .
I mean cops just straight up murdered her, rendered no aid and will get less time than if I accidentally vote twice. Fuck it all man
There's a history of cops killing people during no knock warrants, unfortunately this result isn't surprising.
It’s infuriating to think that a AG charged the ‘cop’ for shooting a wall. But all those bullets that pierced Breonna’s body? No big deal.
So the shots that were fired into a neighboring apartment were more criminally egregious than the ones that were fired into an innocent women's body? Fuck this.
Question; we always hear there's more to the story that the public doesn't know. That's the excuse they're using here.... So, were body camera's in use? The cops claim they announced their presence. Of course they're all gonna side with each other, even if it's not true. If there's body cameras, we'd know if they announced their presence . If there were no body cameras, then hold them accountable. There is no reason that every cop doesn't wear and have their camera turned on at all times (except when they're pissing/shitting/in their office).
they could have potentially got reckless homicide but that’s a class D felony, same penalty as what the officer was charged with
Oh nothing, just a bunch of dumb racist white people cosplaying as soldiers carrying actual loaded automatic weapons through the streets of the largest city in Kentucky. Very cool stuff happening in America, as per usual
And why not? I get they probably don't want them because it's an out for them; but body cameras would answer so many questions IMO.
The 2A gun nuts are gonna have to explain to me how it’s not ok to return fire when cops come in with a no knock warrant firing at me.
This is 3rd world country shit, and it's just accepted as the new normal. Burn everything to the ground.
Gonna be awesome when this is the same scene on election day in big cities. We've already seen it to some extent at some early voting places. Gonna be these same armed mobs intimidating people into not voting. This country fuckin' suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.
I truly don’t understand how a person could intentionally kill another person and no crime was committed by anybody involved.
We discussed this previously, and my opinion isn't a popular one so I won't go on with a back and forth, but idk how you can charge the individual cops with murder. The entire system caused this. From no knocks being legal to the judge approving it on very shaky evidence to the captain ordering it after they'd found the guy they were looking for. Fuck up after fuck up after fuck up. No knocks shouldn't be legal. The judge shouldn't have approved it. The captain should have known they found the guy and called off this search. But the individual cops were doing their job. They were fired upon (understandably so, and that's why no knocks are awful) and fired back. Did they go overboard? Probably so. But I can't blame them for firing back when they are shot at. The system put them in a terrible position. This case should cause the entire system to be changed and for no knocks to be outlawed nation wide. But I can't charge cops with murder bc the system told them to do a no knock and it went sideways. I can't hold them responsible for the system that put them there. And I don't even like cops.
You can when they fire indiscriminately into an apartment and kill someone who wasnt shooting at them, without even hitting the person who was.
