Also, I’m dumb as fuck. The cast is loaded and the voices are all pretty Obvs. Mulaney, Cage, Schrieber, Pine, Lily Thompson, Steinfield, Jake Johnson. But how the hell did I never connect Uncle Aaron to Mahershala until this viewing?
is there some sort of synopsis for what the show is about? that trailer didn't help me figure anything out
I’m going to smoke so much weed while watching that and enjoy every minute. Wanda having a psychotic breakdown is going to be the best kind of mcu
God I love the campy Switch/Vis costume throwbacks. Same as they did with Luke Cage. I have a feeling there is going to be a baby Yoda type “holy fuck” in here somewhere.
I think it’ll be “House of M” light. Wanda recreates an alternate reality where Vision isn’t killed and they live happily in a wholesome 60s family comedy. But it looks like she loses control of her mental state and her alternate reality will break down.
Like, could you imagine she’s getting ready to snap and destroy all universes and Xavier zaps her dads consciousness into her fake reality to reel her in?
Wanda crying in the middle of the floor. Footsteps. A shadow looms over. “Let me help my dear”. Camera pans to reveal Michael Fucking Fassbender. I’m talking this one into reality.
Apparently an older version of Monica Rambeau (little girl from Captain Marvel) was in the WandaVision trailer Monica Rambeau: Teyonah Parris' WandaVision Character Explained http://www.ign.com/articles/2020/09/21/monica-rambeau-explained-marvel-wandavision-teyonah-parris
Was hoping for some kind of late fall release for BW yet, but I get why Marvel wouldn't want to put any of its properties in a spot where people could say they're losing steam coming off End Game.
Hope they release BW on Disney+ like they did Mulan, because SugarDaddyShaun has graciously volunteered to allow us to watch on his dime
I understand the rational behind it, but the date pushing is frustrating and makes me nervous for the future of Marvel films and the movie industry in general. At this point, I don’t have great confidence that the theaters will be at full strength by next summer. If people are still concerned and not going, how long can they keep pushing these films? What would that mean for future production? At some point, they can’t invest $200 million in movies anymore just to sit on them forever. I’ve been avoiding the post credit scene spoilers from BW since April. Now we have to wait eight more months?
