RJF-GUMP I've had the passifruit Daze, but not the BO. I enjoyed it. I had the Judge Juicy 2 or so years ago and it was trash. It was right when Ghost Train stuff was starting to go down hill, before they got one of the guys from Trim Tab over there brewing, so hopefully it is better now.
I mean anytime someone wants to send me some Green Cheek, feel free. Loved their stuff when I visited.
Mainly trade for it, Corky said. Arizona gets Drekker Sours distro here and they’re like gold to people, for whatever reason. I usually trade 8:8 Drekker for monkish. I also trade Wren House (local beer in Arizona) along with some Chicagoland IPAs that I snag anytime I’m up there.
Would love to see your rankings of those Monks after you get through them all. I got a couple of those too.
Interesting. I've been out of the trade game(besides guys on here) for a long time and have never ever heard of these guys.
They're out of North Dakota. They're good but wayyyyy overhyped. I visited the brewery in Fargo a few years back. Shit sells out in like an hour when places get it here. It's nuts.
My buddy invited me to a Monkish Enthusiasts or something like that and I just laugh at the prices people pay for Monkish. Some guy was selling teku glasses for $50+
100% agreed. I don’t get the hype. They’re okay but that’s about it. I’m not a sour fan at all, so that plays a part but they do make a solid IPA. People kill for those sours though. The bottle shops here look like they’re giving out free TVs the way people are running to get to the store to buy as much as they can lol. First time they hit the valley and there weren’t any limits, a dude in front of me bought 3 cases of sours.
Half Acre Bodem. Back to old faithful after running out of my Wisconsin summer supply of Happy Place and 3 Sheep's. Going back up there tomorrow so I'll restock.
Went to the local brewery and had some socially distant beers on the deck. Dry Hopped Sour "Hazy" IPA Double Brown Ale
