They had the Cubs at 2 and didn’t even have the right lineup. Dans in the 2 hole, Duvall was like 8th, Oz at 9.
We literally lead the majors in runs per game, yet have the 4th best lineup in the NL playoffs. That's pretty good stuff.
i would rag on espn but i am mentally prepared for the offense to completely disappear as we get swept by the cubs in the NLDS and don’t want to tempt fate
Anything wrong with Riley? Just curious why we're trotting out our normal lineup except him for the second day in a row.
Maybe mental break? He's played a lot of games since starting back. He's still young. Maybe just trying to get him fresh mentally for playoffs. But I think it's probably to get Hech some ABs. Hech was quite good for us down the stretch last year. He hasn't gotten a lot of ABs this year. Think we just want to keep Hech fresh and getting some PT in the event he needs to play come postseason. He swung the bat well last night.
Loubias secret newsletter reporting braves will play tonight. Sorry to leak members only information. We will just have to wait and find out.
We’re very optimistic that we will get this one in tonight. They’re worried about the days remaining so will make every effort to get this one in. We’re hearing there’s a chance they change this to a seven inning game. Stay tuned.
Marlins telecast just mentioned that the Braves are currently averaging 5.98 runs per game. the last NL team to break 6 per game was the 1953 Dodgers. still only the 4th best NL lineup this year though.
I love the annual Barves cool down prior to the playoffs. Turns out it doesn’t matter how many games are in a season. We will just start to suck shit as soon as we are in
