see what point? I agree it’s an awful “rule”. Spurs got screwed. the sport is not ruined. they’ll fix the way it’s called just like they’ve adjusted rules in the past, including the handball rule itself.
Andy Carroll literally was sent on to hit headers at arms. And it worked. The current rules should make this a very efficient tactic.
You can't tell me United gives away a penalty in that same scenario, which is what annoys me more than anything.
Is it a shit rule? Yes. does var suck the life out of the game? Yes. was it still funny because Jose? Yes.
VAR shouldnt be a part of soccer the payoff is any takes out the nerve of soccer. In football the game stops after every play so it works, but its stupid as fuck in soccer.
VAR has already corrected a few awful on field decisions this season. Change this handball rule/interpretation and there won’t be a problem
Look at the "foul" that led to the fk where the penalty resulted from for a great laugh as well. Their player hit a terrible pass so he lunged into our guy and somehow fooled the ref (who was trash the entire match). How are the refs so bad?
