The problem isn’t the system it’s the idiot refs who are making the decisions. It still feels like they’re actively sabotaging it because they don’t want it.
I don't want to watch soccer in a world that rewards jumping like a Salmon and playing Andy Carroll. Dude was doing that intentionally and got rewarded. If Steve Bruce and Andy Carroll can game your rules you need to figure shit out.
I disagree with you on all of that. I dont think refs hate it. The system is def the problem. leads to long breaks and the doubt of decisions arent eliminated.
Well yeah the bad/doubtful decisions aren’t eliminated because the people making those decisions act like idiots.
The combination of a terrible rule with the absurd over scrutinization they do for VAR just makes it unbearable. And the fact there is zero consistency.
