Can’t believe the announcers think “where do the Bears go from here?”....uhh you really thing Mitch is getting the job back?
Bears schedule picks up starting next week. If we could somehow go 2-1 in the next three putting us at 5-1 heading into Rams, Saints, Titans, Vikings, Packers. That would be very helpful.
LOL can not believe this team is 3-0. Gonna battle GB for the division now. Should be fun now that the Trubisky era is finally over (thank God).
This far into the his career and not being able to read a defense is pretty shocking. Add in his terrible mechanics and I don’t understand how this staff ever thought he was the best QB in that class.
And when Pace said it was between Mitch and Patrick but he went with Mitch because he enjoyed the dinner interview with Mitch more than Pats and could tell he was a “winner”
Yeah. Can’t remember exactly what the sideline reporter said at half but something like “I asked about the missed completions if it was timing, decision making, accuracy and he just shook his head and said we have to hit the open men”
Hah no we didn't. Contract wasn't that big, it's just that RBs are cheap and easy to find, so paying him this early in the year was dumb Can we replace him? Gonna have to try this season. Ryan Nall and Artavis Pierce aren't likely to do much
i think we’ve been solid against the run the past 2 weeks. We got gashed on big runs from shotgun when Goldman normally wouldn’t be in anyway. Like hills 35 yard run yesterday
Hoge and Jahns was saying that when Goldman opted out he was only playing like 45% of the snaps last year.
Trevathon is slower than my grandpa (who is dead) and Roquon is getting ate up by guards getting on him. We need some beef in front of him to eat up that block so he can meet the RB in the hole instead of 10 yards down field.
What’s interesting is I post on rivals and a guy there is a life long friend of nagys.. he’s said Nagy is pretty pumped about foles and the offense now.. he said before the season it was mitch job to lose and he would have a short leash and here we are..
I’m interested. We haven’t seen receivers schemed open since Phillips exposed his scheme on that SNF game in 18. Now it’s that due to Mitchs shortcomings or Nagys? We’ll get to finally see. I’m fine with adding more RPO like Pederson did but I really liked our run schemes in week 1&2 and I’m worried he’s going to burn that section of the playbook.
Here are 2 of the new quotes from tonight about the change "As opposed to Mitch? Absofvckinglutely Nagy coached him in Philly and KC they have a great relationship and Nick knows the offense better than Mitch already. I'm not saying Foles is an elite qb in the league but he's definitely capable, especially in this offense" "Wait until you see the offense with a qb who isn't complete trash. We had to trash 70% of the playbook because Mitch wasn't capable of running it"
