Interesting from the NYT editorial note: “We are not making the records themselves public because we do not want to jeopardize our sources, who have taken enormous personal risks to help inform the public.” sounds like it could either be IRS employee(s) or members of his own accounting team. Can’t imagine too many others would have access to those records.

as a MS resident I see so many people who get SSI Disability, but could work. Hell some do cash work only. They also say socialism is evil, etc. all while living off the government tit. People really need to stop framing this with what his base will think. They aren't changing one of their votes because they're idiots. Polling says there are somehow 9-11% percent of unsure voters. Assuming even 3% of them are angry it this and its a huge deal. Add people who bust their ass that get pissed that another rich person skirts the laws and decides to vote, and its a huge deal. The money donated after RBG died proves there are consequences to actions. The shit that happens might not matter to Congress, but it does to voters.
