i would like to see him meltdown so hard he loses the game and then melts down even more to the point he signs a contract with us for next season
“The Phillies are still expected to make a serious attempt to re-sign Realmuto this offseason. It won't be cheap. He is seeking to become the highest-paid catcher in the history of the game and word is he's targeting a figure way beyond the $23 million per season that Joe Mauer made in an eight-year deal with Minnesota Twins. Word in baseball circles is that Realmuto wants to stay in Philadelphia, but money will talk. He is said to have an attraction to Atlanta or one of the Texas teams — close to his Oklahoma home — if he doesn't re-sign with the Phillies, but the Mets could change the calculus entirely.” Would love to have JT, but he’s not coming to Atlanta if he wants to be paid in Real American Dollars.
MLB is defining family as wife and children only. So it wouldn’t have mattered how many games the Reds won, Trevor’s parents still couldn’t watch him play.
He’s just looking for some odd edge. They’re talking quite a bit of shit. I’m actually pretty pleased with that. I’d like for us to finally play with a chip on our shoulder this time of year.
give him a locker next to LuQ and flowers so they can just be weirdos in the corner together but overall not sure he’s a fit in the clubhouse. braves country will love him tho
Right now is why we should have resigned Donaldson because I could make a couple of outstanding climate change/bringing the rain jokes here God dammit, AA
We don’t have bug if we sign Jd. How selfish of you to prioritize your burgeoning comedy career over the team
That's why I said I'm not shocked. I think this team being here before is going to help them overcome the playoff atmosphere and not choke this year.
not sure tbh. but they also weren’t consistently in the playoffs with nothing to show for it so kinda judging on two different scales also winning this series doesn’t count as ending the streak for me. win the nlds
True but I also feel like it would be very Atlanta of us to win 1 3 game series in the corona year and give Snitker a lifetime contract
For the Braves, I think it’s more than just the fact the franchise hasn’t won shit in forever. There aren’t any guys on the roster who have. Ozuna is the only hitter who has won a postseason series. No starting pitcher has.
it’s also impossible to ignore the fact that we won one title with glavine, smoltz, maddux and the two jones’ when judging difference in postseason success between us and others the franchise is judged on that failure as they very well should be
like sure we have dominated this division for most of all of our lives but we got 1 stinking title out of it 25 years ago and no pennants in 20 years while every other east team sans new york has at least one title (and they at least have a pennant within the last 5 years)
The way I see it, Braves really need to win in 2. As good as Kyle has looked, I don't wish to see how he reacts in that type of pressure situation. Addditionally, anecdotally at least, Castillo also seems like the pitcher this team would struggle with the most.
CB Dynastics has partnered with a well known security contractor named after a Doobie Brothers song to keep Gin Buckets away from the Battery starting tomorrow. Anyone wearing an Atlanta United jersey or bright colored polo will be no scoped.
Gonna send Trevor Bauer a bunch of targeted ads about how Atlanta is the perfect city to explore with your drone
Tobias Looks like you might be able to get home before the start of the game. Probably going to rain into the 3 o'clock hour. Then I'd assume they'd allow for the field to dry and some proper warm up
“oh rob i guess we shoulda just won more games if we wanted to play in cincy where it’s currently 61 and sunny instead of playing here in rainy atlanta huh?!?” -bauer in a few hours
