GameStop making the only thing available a disc version with literally everything is peak desperation.
Not to throw GameStop a lifeline but wasn’t there a report that the overwhelming amount of inventory was the disc version?
What’s the desperation of getting on release day? It’s not like it’s a limited edition type thing. Everyone will be able to get it a month or two after initial release. Calm down.
For me personally? Impatience. I've been ready for a new console for a long time and don't want to wait a second longer than I have to.
the only launch title im excited about is destruction all stars and i think i can wait a few weeks to play that
Thanks. When I clicked on the first it didn't work so I just X'ed out. Here's link for those that don't want to click on Twitter: https://venturebeat.com/2020/09/28/xbox-series-x-impressions/
Haven't been on too much lately. Work, coaching and classes have me exhausted. Decided to start Wastelanders 3 last night and didn't make it past the difficulty selection before I passed out. Woke up to the same screen and a controller in my hands
How do you preorder this shit? I don’t have a login or anything because I’ve been out of gaming for a long ass time
Middle son wants the PS5 for Christmas, youngest wants the XBox. As long as I can get my hands on them by then, I'm good.
I finally played and finished The Last Guardian last night. I’m having trouble wrapping my head around how that took 9 years to develop. While it was ambitious and the story was endearing, it was the clunkiest piece of shit I’ve ever played. I loved Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. Not this. Sorry, BlazingRebel. Someone give me a palette cleanser. Stat.
1. Find out when preorders go up. 2. Set alarm 5 minutes in advance. 3. Get on site 5 minutes ahead of time to be ready 4. Go on site and realize they went ahead and sold them. 5. Read the sites tweet saying ohh sorry you did what we said to do but we went ahead and sold everything before then. If you happen to get one in your cart: 1. Click purchase 2. Lean back in your chair excited. 3. Realize it didn’t process and keep trying for an hour. 4. Finally get the screen saying you’ve got it. 5. Celebrate 6. Get an email saying due to unexpected errors they don’t have enough units to satisfy your order and it will be 2021 before you get one.
Sub Nautica. also a Bugs Fable is great if you like games like paper Mario and 1000 year old door. Game is fantastic
Subnautica is buggy but one of my sneaky favorite games this gen. If you like base building, exploration, etc. It’s an awesome game.
When you realize that Shadow of the Colossus was actually big, beautiful and boring as fuck you start to learn a lot about yourself as a person and you don’t do things like play The Last Guardian.
This is just further evidence for my take about how there hasn’t been a single good non Nintendo AAA game from a Japanese studio since Snake Eater tho
I mean I’m glad I played it because it’s a really memorable tale. I just didn’t necessarily find it fun at all.
Yeah it’s a puzzle game disguised as an action-adventure game. It’s a top 3-5 game of all time for me and will never be properly imitated.
