If you’re going to hang out in this thread, you’ll quickly realize that there’s usually at least one poster making weirdly aggressive posts each night. It’s just the nature of the beast.
We painstakingly put it together. Just try :) I’ll throw rebel yell 10 yr into the mix for an approachable wheated
Well I appreciate the recs guy but I can’t hang out in an angry thread. I’m a Georgia fan, my life can’t afford it.
Like I said I am not a bourbon expert. But i am very comfortable suggesting aberlour 12 for a guy who isn’t sure what type of whiskies he likes
He didn’t get allocated one last time it came in state. Something like 20 bottles total got to Oregon. I think more Mitchers comes in at the end of the year, with everything else, but he is working to confirm. Pretty sure he has all the BTAC bottles already, but I’ll see if there is something he is looking for to sweeten the odds.
More than likely it’ll be a release coming out that he can buy out of the system at retail. Last year when I got a Mitchers 10 yr bourbon and rye and elmers from I had him put a toasted barrel on my tab and gave it to him. Cost me $70.
20 for Oregon would probably be a lot. I think most years there are only around 200 bottles nationwide. I recently saw one on Bourbin from 2015 asking for 4K. His best offer to date was $3200.
I open the majority of my good bottles in store to give the store owner a taste. I don’t think he really cares much about the taste, but I think he enjoys seeing that I’m not reselling on him.
