I'm not really sure what the fuck the falcons are going to do about the Cap next year. It's all funny money, but I don't see many "bad" deals where they can cut folks or many obvious restructuring possibilities

I think the play is to give a chance to a new hot shot, not some “established” guy who has already been fired elsewhere. Maybe somebody like Eric Bieniemy? Who else fits that? Colts DC maybe?

one important thing after DQ is cut is for us NOT to go on some 6-2 run again and make Koetter or whoever our interim guy is a permanent thing. Nobody currently with us is the long term answer in my opinion, and that of course extends to TD’s role as well

Darnold is signed through next season and would cost $9mil against the cap to cut him though. But given the contract situation with Ryan, seems more likely that we're out of the sweepstakes than they are.
