Yeah I’m upset. I would watch a 38 episode season (one for each match) but will watch those two episodes happily. As I had mentioned before, I don’t think they were doing it at the beginning of the season but once they realized they were close to promotion the cameras showed up again so I don’t think they had as much content to make it a longer season.
Good win in the bottom league. Positives for sure in the offensive movement. Obviously the defense was poor for moments. Continuity mistakes were there multiple times. Meslier has to come for that ball on the Mitrovic header. Will need investment still. Can only hope the Pablo injury is not long term.
Not convinced with Koch. Penalty was soft but no need to go down. Meslier totally botched the header by Mitrovic. Costa has been impressive and Phillips is proving why he was called up. Also Cooper being back was huge. I thought Rodrigo played well at that spot but spent himself running so much. Need midfield depth for sure. Klich has great moments and then messes up easy passes. Could use somebody like De Paul.
Rumors in Chilean press that Bielsa is now going after Erick Pulgar who plays at Fiorentina. He’s more of a CDM than a box to box but I’ve been very impressed with his progression. Saw that 10m is the asking number.

Koch looked immense today. Meslier was outstanding. I think Phillips needs to get back to linking play better as we struggled the first half for periods. Part of that was Roberts looked like ass out there. Liked what Rodrigo brought to the game today. Poveda had some moments but I think he needs to move the ball some more. Bit of a black hole at times. Over the moon with the result.
Yes forgot to mention how well Koch played today. Him and Cooper were very solid. Agree 100% on Phillips. He was too far back and we need him to push up more.
