To me the 2 most dominating things in sports to me in my lifetime Rafael Nadal at the French Open Usain Bolt 100 M Dash
As far as know as well they won’t for this. Used to be they didn’t have lights so when the sun went down that was it. Obviously non impactful here.
I think I remember, between the lights and olympics chatter, the locals trying to go that route. Obviously not the case. But I have the match on mute so no clue if TV said anything.
Same was on CC for work now sitting outside. I read something about them not having lights previously, but obviously with the roof you have to have them. One thing I will say, and maybe it’s just TC, but I’d love to see a lot more of the work they did. I get it’s missing the ambiance without the crowds because that’s what makes a major great. Just would be cool for a walking tour when there aren’t thousands of people around.
People that didn’t watch the match will look at that scoreline and think it was routine business for Rafa. I was already high on Sinner coming in. I’m even more impressed now.
Really bummed I didn't get to watch any of the matches today. Sounds like Sinner put up a hell of a fight for two sets. Schwartzman v. Nadal should be juicy.
He hurt himself at the end of the first as well. Happens, but typically you see guys who are “hurt” pack it in. He definitely did not.
Hey, Kenin gets a coaching violation in the first set and doesn’t turn it into an international incident. Crazy!
Really happy for Tsitsipas. Seems like he’s kind of been forgotten over the last year with the emergence of Medvedev. Hopefully he pushes Djokovic in the semis.
As a Nadal fan I’m big time nervous for this match against Diego. I’m also going to need Tsitsipas to do us all a favor on Friday.
