It is always funny to me why people don’t understand why teams stay away from russians sometimes. Why even say something like this. I met a few russians in my life and they are different
I wonder if Pietrangelo is pissed at his agent at all. First they slow played the Blues to where signing Krug came as a shock, now some of your seemingly future teammates are getting pissed at the process of bringing you on.
Thought so at first, but Toffoli is a 20-25 goals scorer and can play either wing I believe. Drouin-Suzuki-Anderson Tatar-Danault-Gallagher Armia-Kotka-Toffoli Byron-Evans-Lehkonen looks much better than whatever we were trotting out last year. That’s a sandpaper lineup to play against 5v5.
Yeah, I jumped the gun. I agree with you. It’s not a contender but that offensive group looks so much better and also way tougher, and the d should be alright. This team won’t be fun to play against and it will be a good thing for Suzuki and kotkaniemi to have some wingers that will create some space for them.
Is that purely a financial move for the Isles? Don’t see why they’d do it otherwise. I’m thinking maybe to protect themselves from a Barzal hostile offer, but who’s even got the room for that? Nashville? Columbus?
Vegas and Colorado the heavy favorites in the west. Probably the favorites leaguewide to win it next season
not Colorado, Sakic is doing an incredible job, the trades, mackinnon and girard contracts. Vegas did well but they were put in a good situation
If Shea Weber can play as well as he is at 35, don’t see why Pietrangelo couldn’t. Plus, wouldn’t be surprised if the salary cap goes significantly up once the covid situation is resolved.
pietrangelo is not Shea Weber. Weber could stay in the nhl with his shot alone. Pietrangelo doesn’t have an attribute like that
