How big is your house and what’s the floor setup (split level, ranch, etc) if you don’t mind me asking?
Here is my shopping list: Mesh wifi system Computer monitor for work Surround sound Chef's hat Lets do this
Three floors. The main reason I got it is because I have a room behind my garage that is separated from the rest of the house by a brick wall. I have a few TVs in there and use it for game day, etc. I could not get the WiFi to work out there with any type of extender. Eero solved the problem immediately. I have the main hub on the first floor, one extender in the basement, and one extender in the room behind the garage. I can stream 4K with no issues.
Really glad they finally improved the quality of titanium they used on this TiTo Titanium Spork Camping Spork 2-in-1 Titanium Spoon and Fork with Light Weight and Better Quality.
We had YouTube TV and HuluTV for a while, but I got rid of it because the sports would always come in grainy. But when I watch it on my phone or tablet it came in crystal clearl. Could that be caused by the ethernet cable plugged into the TV?
Im tempted to toss/donate all my tupperware/food storage and start over. tired of mismatched lids ect But mostly just bored and itchy to spend money on something dumb
Well buddy you're in luck because amazon's got all the food storage solutions you could ever want! actually a pretty decent idea cuz food storage stuffs have gotten a lot better
I don't think I explained it well but I was ideally hoping for a set of Bluetooth headphones that could be connected with a cord in certain situations (thinking a longer flight if I want to watch something on the head rest TV). Not specifically headphones with a cord attached at all times.
Watching on your phone connected to home network? Otherwise could've been cable or something about your tv.
the eero mesh 3 pack is $174 from $249. can people who know about these things tell me if it’s better to wait for the eero 6 to come out next month instead?
I'd been looking at getting the Sony mx4 headphones, they all come with a cable to plug in to a headphone port
I’m sort of tapped out. I bought everything over the weekend in anticipation of a new 65” tv being delivered this weekend. Mount, Google Home compatible LEDs for the back of the tv, and a pair of 15’ HDMIs. Knocked some holes in the existing wall above my fireplace (it’s a 90 degree angle while the fireplace is 45 degrees which is so fucking stupid), ran some conduit off to the side, framed up a wall parallel to the fireplace which cut the mantle to about 12” as opposed to like 3 feet (seriously what the fuck) and brought forward my electrical and coax hookups. Relieved? to see none of the shit I bought is on sale today.
Nope. Main floor is hardwired but upstairs and basement are wireless. I’m not sure what is considered a big home but we are about 5,500sq ft and it works great everywhere. No buffering. Upstairs is my office, wife’s office and sons room. All running off wireless node and doing video conferencing all day with no issues.
I thought about inventing (but assumed it was already made) a set of tupperware that all had the same lid. Some would be deeper than others, but they all fit into each other and all use same lid. We have a cabinet dedicated to tupperware and after a couple weeks it becomes a hodge podge of random lids and tupperware.
same thing different brand. If you are paying under 1k for a 70 inch tv, you are buying the bottom of the table model from the big boy brands. Your best bet is TCL. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with getting a bottom tier Samsung/LG TV, but it's never going to look as good as the TVs you see on the wall at Best Buy because it's really not in the same ballpark. The mid tier brands like TCL do an exponentially better job at creating budget TVs
I have multiple. I'm meh on them. Nice just throwing it down on it and no cords everywhere. However, you can't charge it and use it at the same time and I normally would keep mine facedown so if something pops up it doesn't shine in my face and wake me up. Have to keep it up on those chargers.
So I know what to get for my main home but what about the mountain chateau? Does Eero handle horse barns well?
We have it at one of our other places too but the internet quality isn’t as great there so it seems worse but the connection is solid
Primeday fuckery - LED Headlamp's lightning deal price was higher than the price seconds before lightning deal by $1.
I have bought nothing. I have watch listed a 12-pack of pens I like. Watch listed a few other things that I likely won’t buy so you can say it’s going swimmingly
I set up my phone so it silences all calls/texts/notifications from anyone but family from 5pm - 6am, so it doesn't light up. My quality of life since doing that has improved immensely.
