This team does. Maybe not this current state of the franchise. But it gets old hearing dodger fans complain about what was on pace to be one of the best regular season teams ever. let’s do better tomorrow
he shouldn’t catch flak over that he absolutely should get hammered for bringing in a lefty that meant ozzie hit from the right and put the game out of reach. he’s insanely better from the right and there were no lefties due up so it was a baffling decision
Lombard has already interviewed for the Tigers' manager job. I don't think we hire him, but he's my favorite candidate at this point. Should I want him? Seems like he's very highly regarded as a person/leader.
can’t really speak to him as an effective manager. Although taking anyone from the dodgers organization is a fair bet. But he seems like an awesome person and super pro-player
Looks like we are set for game 2 Gonsolin, game 3 Urias, game 4 Kershaw (or emergency Dustin May), game 5 May.
What? So the guy who just drew a walk has to sit? Evidently so does the guy who made an amazing play at 2nd to end the first inning. Running out of guys!
My MVP of the game is the youngster who is yelling his heart out all game trying to rally the troops. Broadcast mic has picked up his voice on several different occasions.
Muncy and Bellinger coming up clutch was huge. Pollock got good wood too. Sucks to have it come that close, but perhaps they’ve woken up
Need to bottle his energy as he was heading into third and unleash it tomorrow. I’m not too hopeful, but a win tomorrow gets us to a game 4 Kershaw vs Bullpen game
Perhaps. But we should stop allowing the middle of their lineup murder the ball. Then we can get a lead
Thoughts on this discussion? At this point, Dodgers offense was garbage. It is a 7 game series. We have a deep pen. And burning our best guys in the first 2 games seems short-sighted. But twitter eggs sure seem mad that we "left bullets in the gun" and the ninth inning comeback would have been given us the win if we limited the damage. I don't really believe that.
its a decent argument but its also purely hypothetical. if you guys keep it closer, we go to our equally as talented high leverage guys and presumably don't let 4 across in the 9th due to pitching shitty ass josh tomlin
although i thought it was dumb to leave in gonsolin who was clearly running on fumes. and dumb to not bring in a lefty to face freddie. and dumb to once again bring in a lefty to face ozzie. so maybe they do have a point
