Yeah click the link there and it’ll take you to the recipe. It was really good. We froze about half of it for later this winter
made kind of my normal pork belly rice bowl but bought some chili crisp/lao gan ma whatever you want to call it that i put some on the rice before building the bowl on top with kimchi/gojuchang/etc. kind of incredible, has a very unique delicious flavor and texture
Wife made Lamb in wine sauce with grilled onion and mashed chickpeas/butter/yogurt. It's one of the best things I've had in recent memory.
First time making a dish tonight, I am excite. It involves homemade egg noodles, smoked axis roast, and a 6 year old 9% ABV stout along with other stuff. Let’s see how this goes.
Did the opposite of a.tramp and went peseant. Emptied out the fridge, made sorta coconut curry and threw a can of chick peas, onion and some fresnos in it. Also made some naan but obviously burnt it a bit
this may be my first time ever making and I may have been at a Best Buy 6 hours ago picking them up but I will never admit it. *also, I was worried the fettuccini attachment would be too small for egg noodles but nope, perfect.
Somebody had the day off. As always, beautiful work and excellent capturing of the process. By the way, if you did all this and made some money today? Salute!
Thanks brother! Yeah, I worked until 3. The noodles are literally 20 minutes from scratch. The carbonnade takes about 30 minutes of effort and then 2 hours of simmering.
Hit Best Buy on the way home. In Dallas a 1:20 commute is not unheard of and being self employed, my work day starts when I walk out the door and ends when I walk back in. Got home, helped with the baby, took care of the dogs and bam! Try harder fish, you can’t foil me!
It can't be done. My wife continually tells me it's possible and I reject that. Don't give her anymore ammunition! Also, congrats on the baby. You still got it, pal.
was gonna do cappellacci de zucca with brown butter and crispy sage...but we were bad at making the shapes so we just did kind of a rustic ravioli instead
Made the last gazpacho of the year tonight :( Farmers market season is over. Also BA started making vids again. They got Marcus Samuelsson to join them. That’s a big get.
New potato tryout tonight. Bacon chopped and browned, add shallots, add garlic, add baby potatoes, add chicken broth, add rosemary, thyme, s&p, and butter and then simmer down. Let’s see how this plays out.
i do one like this with creamer potatoes. Boil for 10-15 with butter thyme and garlic then take out garlic and thyme let water evaporate and brown with butter. mash garlic with Dijon mustard and mix with browned potatoes.
For a Thursday night and mostly drunk, killed it. Less salt in taters but you can’t tell that from pics.
