I would like to know how they found the contestants though Especially where they found Rasheed who supposedly had never cooked competitively before
I'm watching this and thinking how wierd it is that most of y'all are watching this as history, while I'm watching it as a formative event of my youth.
Los Favoritos de Midas is based on the 1901 short story by Jack London. The six-part series follows Victor, a rich businessman, who is blackmailed in a strange way by a mysterious organization.
Speaking of the BBQ competition show, Rutledge Wood just bought my HS buddy's MR2 that he refurbished with his Dad back in HS. Thought that was pretty cool.
I know I'm way way behind, but this Letterman show is pretty good. I like this format better than the tonight show....
it really doesn’t. Know I am late to this but finally watched it and I enjoyed it a lot. It didn’t stray too far from the source material. I think you definitely should read the book before you watch the film in order to truly appreciate and understand what you’re watching.
George Clooney, trailer drops tomorrow. I watched 7 episodes and couldn’t even force myself to watch the final 3. Found it to be pretty boring
I think the movie did a great job staying true to the source material and did a great job being original. We will just have to agree to disagree but I really like the movie.
Ok, one of you tell me about Snowpiercer. Do I need to watch the movie first, or skip the movie and go straight for the series?
Watched most of John Henry the other night. It's not often I'll give up on a film once its started, but this was just awful.
Veronica Vaughn, Vicky Vallencourt, Violet Valentine, Virginia Venit is as far as I got. (Always thought that last one was Virginia Bennett )
He gave anyone who wants a future Halloween costume an easy idea. -Bike helmet with mirror -Thermos -Sash saying "MONITOR"
Barbarians was decent. It ended too quickly and didn’t really capture the battle and tactics very well which is kind of the whole point of the show. As someone who took 4 years of Latin my absolute favorite part was that the Romans actually spoke it in the show. As it’s a dead language, it was the first time I had heard it conversationally ever which kind of blew my mind and also was the best surprise ever. It’s worth the watch just to hear it.
Needed more war/fighting scenes. That shit didn't start until there was 30 minutes left in the last episode.
